true, but you have to remember they get between 1 and 3 hours to play each show, they have so many concert staple songs that they have to play, it's hard to get more than a few underrated gems in there

Sorry, but Live Jason bass tone, tightness and energy was unmatched, of Course when comes about studio recording Cliff contributed more, but not for MoP but RtL, and Still in his contributions only 2 songs were almost donde only by him, bell tolls and Orion the rest is pure James Hetfield, in fact Kirk Hammet contributed a lot more for MoP, so sure Cliff was better musican than Jason but Live Jason eats alive any other bass player.
Kirk looked so goofy with that hair, glad he grew it back. Haha. Great live version of this gem from load! One of the coolest tracks from the loads, dat bass line and main riff.

Man I love footage from the Metallica farewell tour after reload. When they stopped making music, and never made another album, ever. They realized their creative well was running dry after reload, and did the right thing and stopped before they became a parody of themselves. Ahh the good old days. Man I love footage from the Metallica farewell tour after reload. When they stopped making music, and never made another album, ever. They realized their creative well was running dry after reload, and did the right thing and stopped before they became a parody of themselves.
Ahh the good old days. Wonder what would have became of these guys?
They created Death Magnetic with some of their best work IMO.
