It's so unfair to legal immigrants. They have to get Visas, fill out endless paperwork, and sometimes wait up to a decade. Meanwhile they see illegals sprinting across the border like Speedy Gonzales, they have no documents, they make up a story about fleeing the cartel violence yet they don't go up to the border patrol and ask for asylum. They used to get caught an released like "Now, I know we have no idea who you are, what your criminal background is, what diseases you might have or vaccinations, if the children with you are even yours or if you're a coyote/child sex trafficker/drug mule, but you better show up to your court date!" What are legal immigrants supposed to think? Our policies send a message that while we appreciate them following our laws, we have such a crisis with illegals and anchor families we have to put you on the back burner. It's like a family where one child is an overachiever, makes As, is well behaved and stays away from drugs and alcohol, and the other child is smoking and drinking at 13, getting arrested, skipping school and getting bad grades and arguing with the parents. The first child is following all the rules set in front of them, and thinks they are doing the right thing. The parents obviously are proud, but so overwhelmed with the problem child the first kid gets ignored. He feels isolated, alone and ignored. That he's done something wrong and is being punished.
Legal immigrants don't bitch though, they are so grateful to be here. I have two family members who are here in the States, did it legally, didn't jump the line with Pelosi and Schumer 's blessing. It was incredible to see a room full of people becoming Americans. Not a dry eye in that room.
I have no doubt that a lot of the statistics she includes in her book are indeed true, which is why I also think immigration, especially illegal immigration needs to be paused. But she will never have my support because she has made it abundantly clear that her issue with immigration is one of bigotry. No group of people deserves to be demonized in the manner Coulter does.
Well the thing is ann coulter doesn't know that her ancestors were immigrants at some point so.. beside the immigrants are being allowed into the US by the government. This book is just a silly thing 😂
