- we flew into the atacama desert during our stay in chile, and we were surprised by how beautiful the desert is. we spent 5 days on the driest place on earth, and i never would have imagined that this desert would have been the most picturesque place i've visited so far. it's wild to think how different the landscapes are the further you go and explore. it is so humbling to have experienced this magical desert.
