  • In this video we will check out Urbana, an apartment building in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. This is the first apartment I viewed with a rating of less than 4.0 out of 5. It has a google review score of 3.3 as of June 2023. Does it deserve this rating? Let's find out in this video.

Nice, I was actually looking at these recently. Great tour. The apartment itself isn't that remarkable, but it doesn't seem worthy of the bad reviews I read and you referenced on Google. The views aren't great as you noted, but the real value is how much shopping/groceries/restaurants and activities are right within easy walking distance!

So true. If you live in this apartment and work remotely or in Seattle, then no need for a car. You can get everything within a 10 minute walk

I like it when you review a complex that's not downtown, because you are so close you can be downtown quickly to see a show or shopping. I enjoyed these units, especially the kitchen island and light cabinets. I'm all about light and white colors. I think Ballard is a cool place to live. What I've learned from your reviews is there are always pros and cons to a complex no matter what the price. Great job!

Excellent area. Its good to see whats out, away from downtown. Now that Covid is passing us by I hope the after hours bars start to pick back up. The ten to two crowd used to be a lot of fun in Ballard/Fremont. Many of the smaller bars would fill up at night to hear live music.

That sounds like fun. Hopefully it comes alive like it did before Covid

This is so helpful! I was just in seattle for my potential apartment. I agree that seeing your neighbors would be annoying, but I also prefer a quieter side of the building so there is my dilemma 😅

Those are increasingly very hard to find in the Seattle area, unless they are much smaller studio apartments - and even those are pushing $1500 and above now.

Yeah that's the issue i've found. When I moved in 2021 I was able to find 1 bedrooms for less than 2K, but it seems like those become rarer each year. I really want to show

Don’t call my generation colorless😅. Every room of my place is a different color. I’m an elder millennial. We aren’t afraid of color.

2200 to live in a tiny box inside of a Democrat hell hole with a huge homeless problem where it rains like hell and snows ? No thanks , Florida HERE I COME!!!!!

You can absolutely take my place in FL. Hope you've done ALOT of research before you move. I'm a native and it's NOT all sunshine and rainbows in FL. Plus, you'll probably be ready to leave after your first Summer (which never really ends 🙄). Good luck though 😊.
