i bought my helios 300 in the acer store last week. I have the 2020 model but my charging socket is on the side and not on the back... the charging socket on the back was one of the reasons for buying it ..did i get an old model?

Nothing Yes I think that’s the case. Acer’s website is also a bit ambiguous, as if you go to their specific model page is says 2070 and nothing about it being Max-Q. But if you go to their main product page it says something along the lines of “Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q”. So probably all 2070 variants are Max-Q, but I guess it doesn’t hurt to double check with the store. 👍

You can turn off the sound by going into the BIOS. Press F2 as soon as you start the laptop, and you should be able to find a setting to turn off the animation sound.

Aslo when they pressed "predator buton" table with informatinon displayed and when i pressing predator buton nothing happening .. So turbo buton and predator buton not working .. As someone else pointed out to me in the comments here, the keyboard flickering seems to be part of the start-up sequence of the Helios. So, nothing to worry about! 😀

I will try to see if that’s possible. As far as I know it’s not possible to undervolt the 10th Gen CPUs, but I’ll give it a try!

You could always install Win 10 using the Media install on a USB. It's pretty easy.
