Little bit of a different behind the scenes today! We’ve Moved to France! Most British Alpine ski racers move abroad to train since the UK isn’t exactly known for its snow (apart from a bit in Scotland). We take a trip to Annecy to get our French visas sorted!
It seems the skis almost get a better deal than the human(s) for space, but how to service them without power & light??! And why the GS skis if only racing SL?
Haha true that! We ended up finding a plug but we had to buy a 5m extension cable to reach it, making it work 👍 We were training GS for 2 days then Sl for 2 days then the races!

How'd you go about funding this? As i assume you wont be making money from prize pools and such from races
Different ways but mostly self funded unless you get sponsors
Visa = not fun 😔
