She runs her own company, Out of Our Closet, which is a sliding scale consulting service that guides clients towards accessible and sustainable fashion. Many of her clients are older women who are seeking to find confidence.

@@halfthehill4910 imo it's a disservice to limit her to that box in that tone. We're talking about someone who's had decades of experience and is living her best life. At a time when external certainty is a very flimsy thing, the kind of confidence and self-love she exudes can be very inspiring. It's the kind of dignity that no one can take away from you because it's truly yours.

Having been growing up in Florida, during my college years in the early 90's, it was the NORM for us young women to hit up the thrift stores for clothes. Men's oversized blazers, jeans, overalls, flannel shirts & railroad caps were the "in" thing. And good lord, once you found a great shop...it was like hitting the lottery! 😉 This story reminded me of those times in school & how clothes can really transform you. She looks good too for 65.😉 That yellow coat was awesome! I would ❤ to browse her collection as well as that store they went to. Because it seems nowadays, you're hard pressed to find a reasonably priced thrift/consignment store with great clothing!🤷

Omg, this is the first video of yours that I have watched. It spoke volumes to me, it touched on so many things that I'm feeling as I get older. I'm 50 years old and have been feeling so out of sorts. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this video! It's so nice to see that there's people out there that care about how women feel as they age and what they are going through. Your video got so many things across to me that no one else ever has! I couldn’t help but ugly-sob when she talked about her late son.
I got out of gym class in highschool by volunteering my time doing vintage fashion shows through Goodwill! Learned more about myself and my passions by doing this. So thankful. Wish my Collection was hers but man she’d have a field day going into the air temperature controlled room that has all our vintage fashion, stemming back to 1880 💖💖💖

My Nana helped me learn to sew. She was a professional seamstress from the 1910's through to the 70's. I love wearing 1930's-1956. I wore 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's for real so lol I have no Identity with that. Anyway, I love how this activist supports my goal not to fade into the background just because I am a woman over the age of 60. Thank you Ms. Rizzio.

I just love that you call yourself "A Style Activist". My taste in clothes I refer to as being stylish, classy and most individual! At a very young looking 52yrs, I still rock a whole wardrobe full of leather of every colour, style and type. I'm just missing shorts!
