When I went to my tire dealer to get it replaced, I told him my story and he told his helper to put a new one one for no charge. He said I deserved it for not backing up rush hour traffic, as he travels the same bridge every day!

I bet he took the wheel off and tossed the tire in order to keep going, because I can't think of very many ways for a busted tire to end up completely gone. I'd say it might be possible that it got caught up in the chain but it would be more likely that the chain or sprocket would break before the steel cording in the tire gave way.

I do the fast RC brushless electrics. I was running my 8th scale Vendetta doing about 50 plus miles an hour towards myself and the front left wheel came off and flew up and hit me in the foot and actually did hurt but I was laughing the whole time.

I-beams are one of the cheapest and easiest ways to get big travel out of your suspension, so it makes quite a bit of sense that they're still used.
