@jtr123 I chose the HMC150 over a DSLR because I needed a camera that can be on for 7 hours without overheating. Also there were problems with DSLR auto focus. Seemed I would need to do allot of fiddling to get good results. Not a good run & gun camera. As for the zoom lag, I believe you are referring to the strobing as I pan through the trees, It's from the shutter speed. I want good slow motion so I have the shutter speed set at about 500.
It's nice to see riders who can actually hold their lines and know how to ride once in awhile! Even though I'm a Devils fan, gotta love the supermoto guy rocking the Crosby sweater at 2:02!
Nicely done on the R1 runs. A few close-calls to say the least for the black one, but perfect leaning angles all around. Great throttle controlling in entrance and exiting.
I know this isn't the crash video(s) but it's awesome how every single rider no matter what style all look after eachother throughout the entire hwy. Someone goes down, and other riders slow down or stop and get over right away to see if the rider that went down is okay.
thanx for the response guys. if i can get a cam ill send ya a vid of a place in Australia we call "the puty" its a maybe 60-80 mile road with a 10 mile snake. up and down hill with alot of tight corners at around 45-60mph max. great bit of road.
After crashing pretty hard on a Hwy in washington like this, makes it scary as hell to watch, The guy on the black crossplain R1 reminds me alot of my self/riding style. Dragging hand clutching it up. Hell yeah.
Any chance u can tell me what state in tha USA this is and how long the typical run up and down is? pretty awesome looking spot for ridding. G'day from Australia
@prorobo Why is there lag sometimes on the zoom's? This camera from what i briefly read in 30 seconds is supposed to be good. For that price, why not just get a rebel with a decent/nice lens?
I got wood! Still waiting for the weather here to get nice so i can have some fun. The guy on the R6 was really throwing that bike into the turn. I worked up a good sweat just watching.
Great vid, keep up the good work. Only wish I could find a place like this near Sydney Australia. I'd be happy to hear from anyone that can recommend a good place to ride. Shinny side up!
Hi bro, first of all thanks for uploading these videos, I'm learning to correct my technique a lot... Which brand and pressure in the tires are using?? Many thanks again!
awsome videos. why do some many of the bike now sound low pitch? sounds terrible compared to the normal high pitch scream. 2:11 is what a real bike sounds like
Is the guy on the track r6 the same rider with the blue/black r1 reppin the same gloves in "cross plane r1 on a foggy Saturday"? The riding style is very similar. I doubt anyone would even know though...
Why does no one ride this with a helmet camera? I would love to see an on-board run up this road by someone... post it as a video response to one of these videos or send the footage to include in the edit.. Are cameras illegal in that state or something? We never ride without cameras!! Loving the no crash vid tho, makes a nice change :-)
@Darkness251 Different motorcycles. You should think about: riding experience and costs. R1: 180 hp aprox. R6: 120/130 aprox. Huge power difference. Have you ridden powerful engines. If not at all, i wouldn't recommend neither... If some: R6. If a lot: R1.
@jtr123 Don't ask me! I just got that info from his channel. If I were on this shoot though I'd have my 7D setup stationary and work my HVX from another angle on sticks.
@R1canyonjunkie dude i love the way you bike sounds, its not like most ones with that high pitch sound thats really annoying after awhile i would love to get my bike to sound like that
@enanoagus Agree with you, man. I've seen many nasty crashes involving those with little experience, riding liter bikes. Even a "piddly" XJ600 with less than 80hp, 160kg is plenty fast for everyday riding. For a 2000kg car to match the XJ's power/weight ratio it would need 1000hp.
Hey, what kind of cameras do you use to take these videos? I believe the the people around you who take photos are using some sort of DSLR's? Maybe 5D's or 7D's, or maybe Rebels? What kind of camera are you using?
@noodles7788 dude i was thinking the same thing. similar riding style and you dont see the other guy anymore. if its not him i hope the other guys is ok

best thing driving in California .... you can hide your license plate everywhere u want on your bike ... awesome ;-)
AWESOME!!! The crossplane crankshaft R1 is a MOZART into my ears....
Great action & superb filming. Glad to see nobody lost it....
The editing flow on this is so good. I could watch it 100 times.
I wonder how expensive is motorcycle insurance in this area?
One of my all time favorite @Rnickeymouse videos. There was some hot laps that day!
It's nice to see riders who can actually hold their lines and know how to ride once in awhile!
Even though I'm a Devils fan, gotta love the supermoto guy rocking the Crosby sweater at 2:02!
WOW... timer=0:48 is insane action... All just excellent.... Great camera work-- thanks for posting!!!
Nicely done on the R1 runs. A few close-calls to say the least for the black one, but perfect leaning angles all around. Great throttle controlling in entrance and exiting.
Love our group.. Great filming, great riding and love the positive feedback..

Crossplane music to my ears.

@jtr123 Don't ask me! I just got that info from his channel. If I were on this shoot though I'd have my 7D setup stationary and work my HVX from another angle on sticks.
Great video as always!
