Blanket statement: keep the pet most of the time. Felhunter since it has 2 very versatile skills: stripping positive buffs from enemy and an interrupt. Second, Sayaad can be good in arenas vs stealthies with million stuns. Third, you can sacrifice pet, but you get their skills, abd only 5% more max stamina, while having pet gives you+3% dmg, pet dmg and 10% dmg transfer to pet from you. Your choice, I keep felhunter most of the time
@dmac303 i personally prefer sacrificing most of the time. Gives me the interrupt so I dont get messed up when my pet isn't on the target 100% of the time. Also, I tend to get my pet killed a lot so takes thay out lol
Agreed, aff has been so much fun! Feels strong but not super op or anything but is in a great spot. Played 20 years now and wasn't until df did i really start pushing pvp. Reached top 100 in the bg blitz bracket for afflic and I haven't had this much fun in years!
It seems they don't force alot of pressure onto you. Every single solo shuffle I am the tank lol. But once they get off me, it's game over. Soul rot with all dots and pet up and Malefic spam, they struggle to recover.
@kevinc8955 yes, the pressure I've seen him get compared tp what I get is actually insane. The only time I get to cast without being kicked is with unending resolve. I get chased through my portals , they literally don't switch to the other dps class. It's constantly on me throughout the fight with no breathing room.
warlock is the most boring and anti-fun class in wow for pvp. yes you can bang, but the squeeze doesnt worth the juice. either play hunter or mage, or melee - waaaaaaayyyy more fun

Im a new warlock and was wondering when to play with or without the pet? Any tips?

pet if no1 cleaves it, otherwise go sacrifice, e.a. into shadowplay or caster lobbies

Gyatt damn all this UI clutter. Thats why i cant retail anymore to much bling bling. I love autohitting mobs in Classic tho
His UI is crazy bloated, but classic arena looks the same. You cannot play competitive pvp without omnibar.
