I got the Scythe of the Unmaker back in Legion. I didn't even know it was in the game. Almost nobody talked about it. The sword got all the attention at the time.
@@lagwall I’m not sure, it already is a pretty low drop chance. Recommend if you really want it to do every difficulty on high lvl toons, like lvl 70 or 80.
Of these weapons, I have The Infinite Hand, Taeshalach, and Gorehowl, Might of the Warchief. All the weapons you listed are extremely rare drops, which makes them special. In fact, I dropped Taeshalach in the first week LFR was released back in Legion xD. I felt special at the time good times.
Almost impossible to solo mythic Eonar the Life-Binder! That red color scythe has a fantastic look to it! I wish Blizz would make mythic Eonar the Life-Binder fight easier to complete.
Just the red sycthe to go for me - as an aside the enchant point for Gorehowl is where the skulls red glow is on side opposite the axe head - so Flames of Ragnaros just enhances that effect and fits well IMO rather than drowning the whole thing in flames, Whereas Flames of Ragnaros just makes Tae’shalach look even more burny and, if possible, cooler…erm, you know what I mean. The maiden’s hammer goes well with some Hellfire citadel fell corrupted mythic plate armour and a green corrupted draenei shield (can’t recall the names). Now if only we could get a fellfire enchant illusion like some of the wrathguard had in Legion…
I'm ashamed to admit I got the scythe in my first lfr: died on my hunter within the first moments, laid there the entire fight and at the end it dropped in my bag... I feel a tiny pang of guilt every time I tmog it.
I remember the day when I got that HD Gorehowl from the Dawn of the Infinites dungeon on my Holy Pala. I asked the tank if he needed it a d traded it to me 😁
Dawn of the Infinite on Mythic is a bit scuffed at the moment, something is up with the soak during the Iridikron fight. I used to be able to solo this no problem, but recently Chromie is getting two-shot during the soak phase. Even with a class that can heal her, she was dying faster than I can heal. For some reason they've scaled Iridikron's damage, where before that spell did 1 million damage, now it's doing almost 70 million damage directly to Chromie while doing almost nothing to my character. Not sure if this is a change in preparation for future mythic+ or timewalking where it now requires a full party for the soak, but it's definitely killed solo adventures for Quantum drops off the last boss.
i believe the sword from agrammar and the scythe from the last boss cannot be looted by everyone, its like nowdays mounts, which "appear" in your bag, i can be rolled with extra loot coin tho.
Last boss antorus the burning throne raid drops them , the red drops in mythic only I do believe that’s where I got it years ago , never have got the blue one though !

In fact, they are not secret, but I think what he meant by that is that these are weapons with an extremely low drop rate, and let's face it, a good portion of players might not know where these weapons drop, considering they are not listed in the transmog journal.

The Infinite Hand actually goes so well with the current tier TWW heroic Warrior set. Just picked up the weap purely for my Warrs tmog .

It was bugged and had 100% drop chanse in lfr back in legion

Got Taeschalach years ago, and got both scythes dropped at the same time, was doing Mythic difficulty.

Even if it was an LFR drop, having the Astral Scythe got you whispers in Legion. Usually jealous whispers but occasionally some good ones.
Grom is my favorite character i had to get Gorehowl for my maghar warrior. Luckily was able to get it the first day

do you need to swap spec nowdays? i think when u go solo farm u drop all the loot that would drop and be able to add it to tmog collection

How is something a secret weapon if it is in the lootpool for everyone to see?
These weapons are not shown in the adventure guide when you check the loot for the bosses
