This is why I love Eddie. he always has time for everyone. Silver spoon or not he comes across as someone who has a genuine passion for boxing and it's deffo made me a boxing fan.

Mike L I agree. There are people who talk about being born rich, but half of them live off that money and get plenty of help. Eddie has become the face of boxing in the UK, and has grown from there. I feel he's growing Matchroom even larger than it was when his dad started the company.

I think they are quite open about not being journalists but they have forged great relationships in the sport maybe time for less "banter" and more solid questions

You can’t be negative toward this. If the FIGHTERS get more money and more activity then I’ll be very happy as a fan. Couldn’t care less if it was Hearn or Don King promoting this, boxing is about the fighters and their journey. This could be massive.

I watched the last AJ fight on DAZN in Switzerland. It worked perfectly. Unfortunately I had to listen to Swiss commentators showing zero passion, but it was a great experience. I watched it on my iPhone and mirrored to my TV. The most important thing Eddie needs to sort out is a credible commentary team. It can completely make or break the viewers experience.

Why are people coming up with this silly theory that Dazn will come to UK and finish sky sports. Never heard something so silly. To beat sky sports Dazn would need to get rights to premiership football, cricket, PGA Golf, rugby league etc etc. This deal is working with sky sports. All US fights will be live on sky sports.. matchroom are not gonna leave sky any time soon. If you take away sky sports how do you think hearn can promote fights. You lose sky sports news and all that sky promotion. Honestly people really do need to think about what they are saying.

Fans Over The World yeah streaming numbers will go up for sure. Like I said though. It's not easy fighting against sky sports. You need to be able to take major sports from them. Plus don't forget about Amazon. They are gonna try and expand there live sports coverage over the next few years.

It appears everyone has forgotten Matchroom is not just boxing, they deal with multiple sports, Eddie Hearn is in charge of the boxing side which is now massive.
At some point their other sports will be on that platform.

Dunno if this is good news fox boxing really, good news for Eddie Hearn... sure, but we already had a case of Showtime vs HBO in the US and Matchroom (Sky) vs BoxNation (BT) in the UK, where we have Showtime and HBO fighters not fighting each other because the two networks won't work together, same with BT and Sky... and then you throw another network into the mix.

He said 1bill for 16 fights over 8 years so they worked it out to be just over 5 mill a show but then says some of that money will go to the UK shows but how dose that work because they are sky sports shows they pay for them so is money getting pocketed or will the fights get paid more to beef out the cards ? But then how dose it work with who pays how much between sky sports and dazn for the UK shows ? But then saying that sky sports will get broadcast dazn shows so maybe they have a input on the us shows aswell hmmmm I'm confused lol
