@brantastik uf it was way back in the day your referring to I think there's a video from mid 2000,s where thebtwo of them sit down for a few minutes and squash the beef. Joe explained he wasn't trying to be overly critical of rampage not checking leg kicks or something
Wow. I have never seen Joe be this candid about the last few years like he was in the final 15 minutes. Rampage truly has a gift of making people feel very comfortable around him. It was his destiny to have his own podcast and it is no surprise why it is growing so quickly.
You should watch the jaxxon podcast. Rampage has a way of just making a fighter feel comfortable and they can talk about anything around him. It’s a great dynamic there
If Rampage would have been in his prime right now, with how hilarious he is and how much social media influences popularity in the sport, he would have take over. Salute champ
Joe telling Rampage that he doesn't believe in aliens while he has alien sculptures all over his desk and a comedy club named "The Mothership" with a big spaceship as the logo is so funny to me. Your not fooling me Joe!
Rogan’s beliefs are basically determined weekly by who his guests are at this point tbh. I’ve never seen someone around his age with a more malleable world view. I respect the fact he’s open to changing his positions on many issues but he just seems to constantly alter his views to such an degree these days that it’s hard to figure out what he actually believes.
Ufc wasn’t as big as it is now compared to back then it was mostly aired in usa now it’s streamed everywhere all over socials so these mothers will know Conner 😂
Rampage is such a good dude. Man, I’m glad he started his podcast and going on other podcasts, cause I think 99% of Rampage as the “villain” vs Chuck. I doubt many people know just how humble and chill Rampage is.
One thing i noticed about joe rogan podcasts is if its 3 plus hours he was really enjoying it anything less than that he wasn't feeling the conversation
Not necessarily though. Some people just don’t want to talk for 3 hours especially scientists/academics. They just want to give some information and be done lol.
Became a fan of Rampage when I heard his name, Rampage. Back in the day, you had to watch VHS videos to see certain fighters when you didn't watch live events. Then, saw his fighting style and then became one of my favorite fighters.
There was a compilation of him doing funny shit on TH-cam back in the day. It was one of the things that humanised mma fighters for me. To be intimidating yet light hearted and funny was a winning combo.
This pod felt natural and organic. 2 fellas that go way back that know each other's careers. One as a fighter the other as a practicing commentator and super fan. They remembered events in MMA history and both respectful yet masculine in demeanor. Throwback pod. Thanks for this one.
man 3 hours just flew by as i cleaned my house and listened to this we need a part 2 man i feel rampage was a lil shy to get wild like he does on jaxxon💀💀
He actually does this for every fighter if u got ur head out of ur ass and stopped bitching abt Jon u would notice. He tries to stay clear of fighters in the ufc and failed drug tests.
@@agkizzy5405 my comment was more a reference to Joe reacting shocked that Rampage said it. It's very well known Jones has failed multiple tests and has been stripped multiple times. Rampage wasn't dropping knowledge.
I remember like a year ago Rampage was on a podcast talking about how one of his biggest regrets was being on bad terms with Rogan and finally not only being willing to apologize and own his previous behavior toward Rogan but that he hoped one day to have the chance to and he said he'd be honored if he got to go on the podcast with him but he didn't care whether it was just them accidentally running into each other somewhere out in the world. He just knew that if he ever saw Rogan in person again he was going to make that apology. I'm really glad they got the chance to bury the hatchet. Rampage is just a genuine dude these days. It's great. And yeah... I'll never forget that powerbomb.
The Jaxxon podcast with Rampage is next level, glad he did it. It stands out amongst the many podcasts that are out there. You learn so much from the fighters they bring on as it's a discussion, not a talkfest with only preconceived talking points that most podcasts become.
Pride: Final Conflict 2003, was the 1st MMA event I saw, on free TV in my hometown of New Delhi, India, on January 01, 2004 at around 4 AM. Rampage and Wanderlei, forever will be 2 of my favourite fighters. Indeed, Pride never die. ♥️👊

I love rampage man, you know it’s a good episode when 3hrs feels like 45 minutes. Classic episode.
One thing i noticed about joe rogan podcasts is if its 3 plus hours he was really enjoying it anything less than that he wasn't feeling the conversation
True story 💯
Sometimes it's because of time constraints, but that's true for the most part. Rampage Jackson has been a long time overdue guest
They determine the duration of the podcast before pressing record
As a rule of thumb, yes. Sometimes people just cant stay for 3 hrs
