I own that Pagani and I've to say, even the case has a pretty solid build. It's a 3 piece case that consists of a top ring that holds the dial, the case itself, amd of course, the back. It does take a fair amount of force to open that case and some skill to do it without scratching neither the dial nor the case, and speaking of the dial, it has a velvety finish to it, that doesn't convey over camera neither behind the glass. I'd go as far as to say, it's a serviceable watch, rather than some disposable cheapo. One of my favorites.
Wow! Definitely a top tier budget watch! For $40, you get an awesome mecha-quartz chrono. My Dan Henry 1964 has a similar movement and it is top notch.
I watched several 'Before you buy a Vincero' videos, since I was considering purchasing one... None of the recommendations were relevant to my wants - the closest was the Timex Weekender, but even that wasn't quite right for me. This is the first watch I actually prefer, at a fraction of the price. Great video, you changed my mind 👍
Shortly after getting my first swiss made watch, I ordered 3 Pagani Design watches and they really do fill out the collection quite well considering their price. It allows the everyday man to have a nice collection of mechanical watches without blowing the budget.
Honestly, for the prices Pagani is asking, it would be better to just take a chance on a vintage piece. They're generally better made and, even if they require a servicing, are generally less expensive than Pagani's stuff.

Before you splurge for an eco-drive watch, look at them on ebay. They go pretty cheap on ebay, particularly if you don't mind something like "there's a scratch on the glass" or "I'll have to put a missing pin in the bracelet". Sometimes a great slightly older model that was $250 new will go for $50 with no visible flaws. (I'm thinking of one with sapphire glass. I got it for $30. Works great!) If you're willing to spend a little more (like $50) you can get one made of titanium. (Will probably do that sometime when I feel like spending the money.) I decided I would like an eco-drive watch. (I usually get mechanical watches, but I wanted something for travel that I could let TSA have their way with) I now have three (casual, formal, and a daily use beater), and will buy a fourth when the right one comes along. (I'm looking for a chronograph, maybe one with radio time setting.) All three, together, cost me less than what I was prepared to spend for one new, and that'll still be true when I buy the fourth. Just check the conditition and size before you buy. I've avoided the "for parts" watches, but I bought one that looked nice... and what arrived was itty bitty. The hand shown with it in the photos must be quite small, it's a womens' watch. (Very pretty though, and I got it cheap, I've saved it to give to a friend when I next see her.)

Have you looked at the Benyar chronograph? I got one last month for £15 and could not believe the value especially as it has a 100ths of a second dial. The quality isn't the best, I wasn't expecting it to be, but has a decent quality strap......and it was £15!!!! Well worth a review!
I know this video has released 2yrs now, but i wanna commented that Im very impressed with Pagani Design watch quality, and u certainly gve it a great review. Thus, I feel like u should check out the likes of William L. 1985, I like how they dont hide the fact that they are Chinese made. Even their first chronograph is pretty cool looking.
Just got that vincero ad where they say three watches all the same price the one spends three times more on materials and you get three times more compliments
Wow Ben, this watch looks great. I really like piston pushers for some reason. There are some Megir watches that look very similar but doesn't have that mecha-quartz movement and piston pushers. Great review as always! Vincero who?
I, too, have been bombarded with Vincero ads.... so I ordered this Pagani. Ben, thank you: it's a great looking watch and a great value. I agree about the strap, but I planned to order a better one anyway. Good call, friend!
Well done Ben, just tell it as it is. I'd guess the Vincero watches are priced high to cover the insane blanket advertising. I'd like a Pagani, shame it's just too big for my wrist size.
They make a great variety of watches, you might look at their shop on Aliexpress. Make sure to read the listing carefully to get what you want, they have various features like various nice movements and sapphire glass, but they also make watches that are kinda boring.
They are making a profit because when they buy bulk movements from the company directly, it costs almost half. So, it's a huge profit margin. I helped my friend produce his first series of watches using miyota movement, the movement was priced 6 dollars, we bought 300 pieces for 2.69$ per piece.
Ordered white one on bracelet. Higher price now than two years ago but still inexpensive for a watch with VK67A movement. Also nice that it's not a homage. Good review.
Pagani Design's watches have gotten better since they came onto the scene. Their Submariner homage watch is a ridiculous value: Seiko NH movement, ceramic bezel and sapphire glass. The only downside is that it's a little on the large side. The one being reviewed is a very good looking chrono for a great price.
Spot on. I just bought a similar design off Ali for $20 on sale from $50. The 8 in the date window looks like a Seiko 8 and the layout is the same as the Pagani. If I’m lucky, I also got a seiko mecaquartz for less than a pizza. Great vid as usual!
I recently paid $135 for a watch with Seiko automatic movement, sapphire glass, and bronze case. I can easily find a watch with a Miyota automatic movement, steel case with steel bracelet, and sapphire glass, for $80. My point here is that we're both probably buying a brand name, once you get to the "below $200" price you can usually find great stuff if you shop enough, the point of the watch reviewed is that it's a great value for the money, not the best watch in the world. Yeah, Orient makes some *great* watches. $150 is still a lot of money for someone in the market for a $30 quartz watch.
Nice video! Thank you for sharing your input on Vincero watches. I bought the black & gold Kairos Vincero watch for $100 USD + $7 tax [$107.00 total]. I used a $50 off $100 or more coupon plus free shipping. The watch is alright for what it is but the way I see it is if you have to use coupons and rewards cash it's an automatic red flag. Certain companies do this in order to make you feel you're saving money when in reality you are not. Let me explain: Say you visit the Vincero website and see a watch for $295 USD right. That's not the true price, it's a decoy figure so that they can justify their 15% - 30% coupons or $50 off $100 coupon. The true price is after using one of their coupons. That's the real value of their products, so if you pay the decoy price you're over paying my friend.
Bought the same one, good watch but something about, returning it for my cash back to get another watch that’s better priced and bette quality.and on the coupon part you are absolutely right,it’s like they constantly offer you coupons or offers, makes people wanna buy them ,bought mine for 130
That video made me buy a Pagani a year ago. Great watch, I love it. Unfortunately mine came with a bit of dirt under the crystal but that doesn't really bother me for that price. When I need to change the battery, I will clean it. The minute hand of the chronograph stopped working a few weeks back, I don't know if it's worth fixing it or if I should just get a new one instead. Doesn't really bother me either, I only got the chronograph model for aesthetics and not function anyway. I purchased a new strap because the old one started to fall apart. Besides these negative points, I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap watch.
Get a new one I only hearing Ontario and we could sometimes charge more than the actual watch itself so the minute hand on your chronograph stopped working depending on the movement and the watch it could be more expensive or cheaper
Best to stick to the bigger brands, I recently decided to purchase my first automatic which was the orient gen 2 with the roman numerals. The only concern people have had is the strap but that can be replaced.
"Best to stick to the bigger brands" - And this is because...? Seriously, we're talking about a watch that has a Seiko movement inside. Do you seriously expect failures with the case, dial, or crystal above and beyond what Seiko would have? The case is steel, the dial is the dial and probably nothing will even touch it, and Seiko uses mineral crystal too.
I have two watches, both black and one stainless steel amd the other rose gold. I have a black and brown strap that i switch out depending on what i wear. I have gotten quite a few "nice watch" comments when i wear it out. Now, im not a watch guy AT ALL. I pretty much wear them when i want to look a little nicer and not my garmin smart gos watch. If youre not a watch snob, ive been super happy with my two.
@@eduardomora7035 had the Parnis, very nice. Have the Pagani (Daytona homage) now. Phenomenal for the $! Stainless bracelet + alligator leather strap, sapphire, screw down crown, same Seiko Mecha quartz hybrid movement. A technological marvel for under $70 USD (Ali sale) delivered to US.
Newbie watch enthusiast question, but why buy this over a Lorus solar watch for instance? I know the latter isn't a chronograph but where I am, the price for the Pagani Design watches are twice the price of the Lorus solar watches. Both presumably have Seiko movements. And at least Lorus has some heritage doesn't it? Asking as a newbie.
I don't know if it's included in the current sale, but for a few bucks more, you can get this one on a metal bracelet. It's not the best bracelet in the world, but well worth the 5-7 USD markup I payed when I bought mine. I think I ended up paying 65-70 USD at the time.
I bought 2 of these Pagani Chrono about 6 months ago & agree with everything you’ve said! One in rose gold & the other in a silver with black dial. Great buys & a lot more expensive look than they were. QC was fantastic on one with the other stop watch hand slightly off centre. Yes some Chinese watches can be hit & miss, but nonetheless I am still impressed! Good review👍🏼😎
Honestly I wonder what time would tell about both watches. I once got one of these "fraction of the price than X brand", and on normal daily usage - office work - the watch that was told to have the same quality seemed completely different after roughly three months. The watch was just destroyed... I wish I could find more videos on "Fraction of the price after Y time", then I would be more convinced...
Idk man, I got one for like 90 dollars like 4 years ago and it still looks nice, band and all. It keeps time well and still works perfect. Yea if you want to drop a couple hundred or more on a watch go for a better brand. But I feel i got my money's worth personally
@@asbestosfibers1325 I mean, its just 90 dollars, I've wasted way more than 90 on various other things that dont bother me, seems more like you are jus trying to be a troll. Still runs, still worth the purchase, even if i dont really wear it much anymore
The price you showed for the movement was probably for 1 where as the company making the watches buy 100's or 1000's. Sure they get them for less than half the price.

One of my friends has a Pagani Design Daytona homage. It's a surprisingly good watch. The movement is fantastic Seiko vk63 movement and the build quality is pretty good for the price. It even came with a sapphire crystal and a screw down bracelet!
Love this watch. Pagani at least seems to have a design team. I have had one for about a year, put a beautiful tan three hole rally strap and it gets some compliments and attention from watch guys I meet through my work. There is another Pagani I hope to get soon.
"Pagani at least seems to have a design team." They may seem to, but they don't. Everything they "design" looks like something somebody else did. That doesn't mean they make a bad product - by all accounts they make great stuff at superb prices - but they get a 0/10 for originality.
@@leomedina5614 Hi Leo, I have only had it a few months. Jody at Just One More Watch did an excellent review to it as well as Ben. If you have not watched it you should. But yes, it has been reliable so far. The back is held on with four tiny screws, so I think you could change the battery yourself, easily. As Ben stated, the movement is a higher-end mechano-quartz that actually costs about what the watch costs. No problems so far, and no cons I could mention. It is big, but that style of watch, in my opinion, looks good even when oversized.

Keep on with your efforts to promote with educational points of affordable good quality watches. I noticed the bandwidth is an odd size. Can you recommend a good source? Good job, all the best, Peter.
Why does the second hand in pagani watch stops as I pull my watch off my hand? Rest of indicators go correctly, but indicator responsible for seconds stops on 12 every time when the watch is off my hand.
I had a Vincero Bellwether model once, almost same price as chrono-s but with mecha-quartz movement as the Pagani Design. The quality was not impressive but not too bad either and certainly with a better strap than Pagani's. But the better value for money of the Pagani Design is undeniable.
I bought a Citizen Chronograph AN8015-01E for under US$100, changed the leather strap with a metal bracelet and it looks so much better than a Vincero or any look-alike watch. Big brands not always overvalue their production.

Have you looked at the Benyar chronograph? I got one last month for £15 and could not believe the value especially as it has a 100ths of a second dial. The quality isn't the best, I wasn't expecting it to be, but has a decent quality strap......and it was £15!!!!
Well worth a review!
Thanks for the video, I was a vincero watch buyer now im switching over to pagani cuz of you.
Pagani design watches seem to be great bang for the buck.
My wife bought me a Vincero watch. I wore it twice. One of the subdial hands fell off. Where did I leave my Casio?
😂😅
Is Megir any good? I've seen a few on amazon the designs are decent.
@@Samurai9901 I have two Megirs, one is a really nice chronograph and the other is meh.
The Pagani wins hands down over the cheaper looking Vincero....!
I, too, have been bombarded with Vincero ads.... so I ordered this Pagani. Ben, thank you: it's a great looking watch and a great value. I agree about the strap, but I planned to order a better one anyway. Good call, friend!
Got one last year. Full stainless and it's very nice. Both quality and looks. Really happy about it and under 90€ 🤷♂️
The same one? 90€? You overpaid massively.
I own a Pagani Design Aquaracer homage and i couldnt be happier. Lot of watch at an affordable price.
I swear I just had a Vincero Ad before this video starts!
I cant believe it, I almost got scammed. Thanks
Straight up 😂
Ordered white one on bracelet.
Great vid as usual!
should do another review with the presage homage pagani
Orient makes some excellent watches. My orient bambino has an automatic movement and domed glass all for $150
I recently paid $135 for a watch with Seiko automatic movement, sapphire glass, and bronze case.
I've had a few different Pagani Design watches, both automatic and quartz. They are actually very good for the money.
I have Just got the black version, the leather strap Is poor quality. Any suggestion for a replacement? Can NATO strap be a choice?
Just bought a Pagani Design chronograph after seeing this. With a metal strap and shipping it was just under €60. Hope it's good!
I completely agree. I have one of pagani designs divers, really good build quality and a sekio movement. Excellent value 👍🏻
Please sent me a link where you buy this watch
How is it only $40?? I expected it to be somewhere around $90
No obnoxious marketing which makes the price twice it should be
@Gorun Andrei dw, mvmt, vincero and all other fashion watches are all made in Chinese sweatshops.
@@林漢-i3g true
It was priced at $90, then they put the name "Pagani" on the dial and BOOM it's worth $400.
@@samadrid6321 what? It's 40 bucks. Not 400.
Yes... I was waiting for this video... Do more videos talking about aliexpress watches please!! Great video

all you need to know!
simply put, DON'T buy vincero
You should look up Pagani Designs Rolex homages
bloozism and parnis too
The Daytona homage is gorgeous, I recommend the Parnis one tho...
@@marcusebenhack9053 recommend parnis or pagani? same price (60 during the sale) in 2 days
Ben, what is your opinion on the best minimalist watch, lightest, thinnest 200-400$, Thanks Brian in Canada. Appreciated your comments on Vincero.
Vincero actually has a nice watch line called the rouge , I don't know why everyone picks the Chrono s
People have different taste.
The rogue is the only one worth having, I believe it even has different movement, but may be wrong about that
I don't know if it's included in the current sale, but for a few bucks more, you can get this one on a metal bracelet. It's not the best bracelet in the world, but well worth the 5-7 USD markup I payed when I bought mine. I think I ended up paying 65-70 USD at the time.
Hi Ben,
Have you ever reviewed Waldor & Co Watches? Saw them pop up today and looked good on the surface.
I love how you make up the chines name for some chines name watch...I like your style. Keep it...your style.
Great channel mate. Keep up the good work. :)
I was looking at Pagani for a beater watch, but I want a quartz so I’m not setting it too often. Recommendations?
Bob dabiuld a Quartz Phoibos is around 125.00 Bucks.40mm,Solid Bracelet.Excellent Watch.
Echo Chambers just bought the Xiaomi Quartz watch last night. White dial with concentric circles and blue strap. Wasn’t looking to spend over $50 on a beater. If I wanted to spend $100 or more I wouldn’t be on AliExpress, I’d have a bambino.
Bob dabiuld oh ok,I was just saying the Phoibos was comparable in price to the Pagani and is a much better watch.I actually bought a 10.00 Readeel Field Watch off Ali about 2 Months ago.Its 38mm,Quartz and works perfectly.Ali is the Best to get Good,Cheap Watches.Congrats.
One of my friends has a Pagani Design Daytona homage. It's a surprisingly good watch. The movement is fantastic Seiko vk63 movement and the build quality is pretty good for the price. It even came with a sapphire crystal and a screw down bracelet!
Wow. A screw down bracelet😎
I have it as well. I think it's the best watch Pagani Design have produced thus far (perhaps tied with the Sub homage that is also on its way lol).
Love this watch. Pagani at least seems to have a design team. I have had one for about a year, put a beautiful tan three hole rally strap and it gets some compliments and attention from watch guys I meet through my work. There is another Pagani I hope to get soon.
"Pagani at least seems to have a design team."
They may seem to, but they don't. Everything they "design" looks like something somebody else did. That doesn't mean they make a bad product - by all accounts they make great stuff at superb prices - but they get a 0/10 for originality.
Pagani Design, Cadisen and Ruimas are great Chinese watch manufacturers. Benyar is OK depending.
Also consider a timex weekender chrono, I love mine.
I love my pagani. I have the black dial one and it's awesome
I own one. It is an astonishing value.
Ian Butler Is it reliable so far? Any cons that you might have noticed?
@@leomedina5614 Hi Leo,
I have only had it a few months.
I've bought a few pagani design watches there always awsome value for money. if you don't mind waiting a few weeks Ali express are really good lots of bargains I've bought nearly a dozen watches from them 👍
I have no idea why I haven't seen this watch before. I'm constantly scanning aliexpress and for some reason this has slipped past me for the last year or I would have picked it up months ago.
Got a Vincero add right before this video!!
Vincero makes gorgeous watches. I wouldnt be surprised if this guy has a paid deal or is dropshipping with the aliexpress seller
So and ad for Pagani?
Ben ur looking so good in this video. Ur hair is on point and ur skin is so clear and fresh looking.
Congrats on the plaque!
Thanks mate
How many subs do you have to have to get a plaque? I always thought 100k was the first one
@@gabechristian2022 You're right, the plaque is for my other channel
Thank you Ben's Watch Club, your review of the Pagani inspired me to purchase this exact watch instead of a Vincero. From the United States, LA Express does not import into the lower 48. So I paid a little more from Amazon. But I'm okay with that. So I look forward to the delivery of my Pagani. Keep on with your efforts to promote with educational points of affordable good quality watches. I noticed the bandwidth is an odd size. Can you recommend a good source? Good job, all the best, Peter.
can check a kapten and son watch please i don't know if its worth it
Why not clear white like on the pictures?
This is a great video, great job finding that watch
I kind of want to buy an orient bambino, after being convinced to not buy vincero. Would you recommend those?
If I wanted to change the strap in the watch which strap do I get? Or are all straps the same size? First watch problems
Hey Eugene, this one takes 22mm straps mate 👍
Much better watch! Awesome review!
Definitely agreed.
I bought a Citizen Chronograph AN8015-01E for under US$100, changed the leather strap with a metal bracelet and it looks so much better than a Vincero or any look-alike watch. Big brands not always overvalue their production.
Citizen is king, value and quality for money is great.
Isn't pd 2720k an original design by Pagani?
The price of an individual movement doesn’t accurately reflect industry prices because of economies of scale. Enjoyed the video Ben!
In other words Vincero are paying even less for their costs or inflating their retail price even more, however you wanna see it.
