What a complete load of fabricated nonsense. Any CEO that makes a TH-cam video on his own channel selling ‘how I make a 7 figure business and YOU can too’ says it all. @Thairish Times did you even check his company stats? Because I did. It’s a far call from 50 employees and earning a 7 figure sum. Shame on you for deceiving your subscribers and doing no creditable fact check.

@@ThairishTimes Sure. If you bothered just to google his name, you’ll see he personally charges 50$ per hour and has had 95 jobs on upwork since inception. Since 2017 his company has also turned over 90k a far cry from a 7 figure salary, and also has 2-10 workers. If you really think any CEO that earns a 7 figure sum per year is telling people on TH-cam about it and trying to monetize it, then you really need to open your eyes.

No link to his business or what he does? Is it possible that he is just exaggerating about what he is actually doing? 7 figuires annually? 50 employees? So what is their salary if you make 7 figuires annually? Surely that leaves you with hardly anything in pocket. Just another expat who makes his life look better than it actually is.

    • @MrSimonj1970

7 figures covers up to 10m, not just 1, professor...I thought he was very modest and credible. I can smell bs artists a mile off and he isn't one IMO. SEO is big business, no reason why he's not to be believed.

The business is making 7 figures, but that doesn't say how much profit. There are always a lot of business expenses, especially with that number of people. Although it's smart to work also with people from the Philippines for example.
the link to his business is right where it was mentioned, Marc. In the description.

  • @packageism
    @packageism 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Forgive me if I missed it but did he actually say how he learnt or got into SEO. How did he actually do this? Where did he study / learn this? Also, he sounds like he is living the high life in Bangkok and I bet his expenses are in the 150k to 200k range. I know he is young but assume he doesnt have any tangible assets (crypto doesnt count). I was the same as him doing well in the Uk in my 20s and bought houses back home. Paid off my first mortgage at 30. I hope he has the sense to start buying assets back in the Uk and rent them out. He might not always be on big money. Better not to live beyond ones means and save money. Diversify your assets. If I were him I would cut down on expenses and put more money away for rainy day. But I am old fashioned.

I'm thinking his on an elite visa. One of the main reason why I had challenges setting up a tech startup in Thailand is because Thailand's tech talent is mainly foreigners, and with this the company needs to pay a huge amount for each foreign employee. Thailand's cost of living is way cheaper than all Asian Tiger countries. Singapore and Hong Kong for tech entrepreneurs is very expensive. You cannot live cheap in Hong Kong or Singapore, especially when companies are required to pay the lease of employees until the end of their employment contract. I'm based in Hong Kong, when I think Thailand, my head just zones out on visa challenges for employees.

In the mid 80's I learnt to scuba dive.
    My instructor didn't drink.
    I found this very weird.
    I enquired as to why.
He explained that he tried it once and got drunk, didn't like the feeling and absolutely hated the next morning.
    I found this very weird.
I also had similar feelings of my first time on the gas.
Damn, maybe I could have had a sober life.
Power to all those that have, can.

Julian is a very balanced personality, and he's living the dream life. Hats off to him. A question for Julian - how do you keep up your motivation to stay away from all the temptations that Bangkok has to offer, such as women, alcohol, partying etc?

Thank you! For me it's about sticking to my long term vision and knowing my short term decisions make a big difference e.g. if I drink I won't be fully productive or 100% until a week later. And also making every day count: I could skip a day from the gym/songwriting but that would delay my goals too.
On top of that, I've had close friends that sadly went down the wrong path and it's hard to watch - so I stay focused on what matters the most.
