Just a tip @14:47 (retro probably already knows about this) if you ever wondered if you mistakenly didn't lock an item you wanted to purchase in the next shop, just simply quit to main menu and then resume. The game puts you right at where you left the last shop from previous wave with the items and money before you press "go (wave X)"

Hey retro, I've done a bunch of tests, and that metal detectors 5% chance of doubling picked up materials is ah, very worth it- besides BUYING it late-game waves its very worth when the items other stats aren't hindering.
Course after a certain point buying it is terrible, but I haven't noticed you buy it much of often...any reason?Don't mean to come off as rude! Just- ah, curious, because I mean hey I may be overlooking things.

I think it's an opportunity cost thing. It might pay off, but how many waves does it take to pay off vs buying more damage now that means you kill more enemies, earning more money from that
