Steve, I have a Frigidaire Gas Dryer FSG747GES1, with a drum belt with duel/two idler (pulleys) spring loaded. How do I safely/easily unload these two pulleys to remove and install a new brum belt? Thanks you so much for your indepth instructional videos.
Another question. Righ now I can't afford a repair kit so Can I use Red "N" Tacky Grease to lube the drum rear bearing?

What symptoms indicate a bad drive motor?

I am wondering the same thing about mine.. 2007 Frigidaire front panel(motor issue I think)... my dryer began making a "rumbling" noise but only when temp has heat, seems fine on air fluff??? I did find a new motor at a parts store and am gonna swap it out and see if the noise continues w the help of mr Steve's video which is extremely helpful.. fingers crossed

I replaced numerous parts, but the blower fan was broken from the motor shaft, and I couldn't get the fan bushing off, so I had to replace the motor and the fan. I think the motor was fine, and if anyone has the right tools to remove the bushing from the shaft, they might end up with a perfectly good motor.
