Steve, I have a Frigidaire Gas Dryer FSG747GES1, with a drum belt with duel/two idler (pulleys) spring loaded. How do I safely/easily unload these two pulleys to remove and install a new brum belt? Thanks you so much for your indepth instructional videos. Another question. Righ now I can't afford a repair kit so Can I use Red "N" Tacky Grease to lube the drum rear bearing?
I am wondering the same thing about mine.. 2007 Frigidaire front panel(motor issue I think)... my dryer began making a "rumbling" noise but only when temp has heat, seems fine on air fluff??? I did find a new motor at a parts store and am gonna swap it out and see if the noise continues w the help of mr Steve's video which is extremely helpful.. fingers crossed
Did you find out what was the cause of ur dryer making the buzzing noise while drying, that's what mine is doing and everything I look up says motor going bad.
I replaced numerous parts, but the blower fan was broken from the motor shaft, and I couldn't get the fan bushing off, so I had to replace the motor and the fan. I think the motor was fine, and if anyone has the right tools to remove the bushing from the shaft, they might end up with a perfectly good motor.
