The Black Diamond Bronco only accounts for about 10% of Bronco Orders, but after seeing it in person, it may be the most under-rated Bronco out there! This is a Cactus Grey Bronco that has been Leveled with a 1" Zone Off-road leveling kit and 33" BFG tires. Thank you you jumping in the front and rear seats. I’m 6’4” and similar build. So awesome to actually see how you fit. I’m definitely set on the Diamond. Have to have that rubberized floor. Hate carpet when it comes to anything off road.

As a Nebraskan, I do would appreciate vented seats if they were cloth. Heck, heated or cooled forced air would be better than plain heated seats

Phoenician here, I’ve never understood why that’s not a popular option. Leather/vinyl seats without vents down here can be brutal

I have a Black Diamond on order as well. Spec'd out like a Badlands, minus the 12 inch screen and the sway bar disconnect. But realistically, I can get an aftermarket sway bar later and I don't need a huge screen. I get a beefy beast that can keep up with a Rubicon for thousands less. I think that's a win.
Most underrated? I'm thinking the best trim overall. Great video man! 🤟

Just got my 2 door black diamond in cactus gray. Absolutely love it! I still haven’t seen any others driving around Los Angeles. I hope it stays that way; I like to feel exclusive lol

Don't forget, on a Non Sasquatch... if you add a bigger style wheel, with larger tire. The rear camera has interference from that. The Sasquatch rear camera, has an extension on it to get it further out of the wheel. Just a heads up!!
After seeing the mgv seating in person I was sold on the Black Diamond. We went 4 door, MIC, MID, V6 and Sasquatch in Area 51. Really hope the hardtop guys get it together I want this thing NOW.

I will say I’m loving my manual transmission black diamond. It was well worth the wait.
I bought this trim with mid package and don’t have a single regret. It fit in my budget and is an amazing vehicle.

I appreciate the video. Do you know if the Broncos have something like BLD found on Jeep Wranglers? It works wonders on Jeeps that don’t have any lockers.

Black Diamond (with Sasquatch) hits the sweet spot for me. You get all the off-road goodies except the sway bar disconnect, but how many times a year would I use that? I bet there will be 3rd party manual sway bar disconnects and you can save the extra expense.
The loop where the back door latches will be used as the tailgate bottle opener, no one will use the C pillar
I originally had a badlands non SAS on order, but switched to the Black Diamond, because I could add SAS and 2.7L, and still be a few thousand less than the BL
You'll just miss out on the 12in screen and the swaybar disconnect.
Yeah, I was only getting the mid package on the BL anyway, do I would still be getting the 8" screen. And I figured there will be aftermarket manual sway bar disconnect kits out in the next year or so.
@@MH-gy6qv I drove a Wildtrack with the 12” screen. I honestly think it’s too big. Almost distracting, so I’d be fine with the 8” screen.

I went budget Big Bend, but your spec is great.
That's exactly how I specced one...I'm not an offroader and this is more than capable for me.

I am glad to see a customer get one. My dealership does not even have a demo at this time. I have yet to see one in person. It makes me think how long of a wait I have to get mine when my dealership does not even have one to see.
I went to a dealership to check one out because they said they had one. And before I test drove it he said they can't even sell it for 6 months. And there are no other ones they have.

I originally ordered the Badlands, switched to a Black Diamond. Much cheaper. I miss out on the Lux package and the Mid package because I'm getting a 2.3L manual transmission. I'm happy with my steel wheels.
Question: Which GOAT modes are standard on the Black Diamond?

I would assume they would be as well. Might want to check with either Bronco6g or BroncoNation for someone with a Base.
@ :30 is exactly why I went with the Black Diamond over the Badlands. The only significant difference that I could see was the stabilizer disconnect. I can't imagine where I'd ever need that.
There are some creature comfort differences as well . You can't option the high or Lux packages on the BD . The high pkg at least would have been nice but Ford wants to corral us into the more expensive trims even though they can't produce them .

I order outer banks with 18” bright machine black aluminum wheels. Before I buy the leveling kit can use 33 /12.50/r18 bfgoodrich tires on my outer banks instead of the original tire that come with it? Gladly appreciate your reply.
Will water get into the air conditioner? when you wash out the rear seat floor?

Im curious to know are the steel wheels on the black diamond better or worse than aluminum wheels that the Sasquatch offers.

Besides the disconnecting sway bar, what is the difference of the drivetrain between the Black diamond and bad lands? In some videos I’ve seen it was said the the badlands has the strongest pinion gear out of all the other models?

If the Neoprene seats has the neoprene fail, how tough is it to get a new seat cover and put it on?
Is the life of Neoprene in line with Leather?

its not neoprene I would think its just high quality vinyl with maybe sealed seams on the inside or something I would guess. Frankly I think its similar to alot fo the other "high end synthetic" seating materials that manufacturers have been putting out lately. Like toyota and they have activex on the mustangs now too.

would the top's front and middle panels be able to be carried in the vehicle if the rear seats were folded down?
When I try to put this tire combo on discount tire website it says they won’t fit. Did anything change for 2024, will this still fit?

I wanted the BD because of the MGV interior, but after realizing it only comes with a 8in screen I changed to the Badlands.
Is the ride changed at all with the leveling kit?
Base is the most underrated. Best value without the gimmicks.
If I was going to build one up I would start with a BD.
Great factory quality control where they don't notice that the headliner is completely missing from the roof panels. Ooooooffffff.
We did not get some of the options on our black diamond model that you said come on this trim level.
IMHO the Black Diamond is best value trim package. I didn't want clothe and I didn't want to pay for leather, so I opted for the Black Diamond w/ Sasquatch.
I've gone through ever trim and this is what I landed on. If you plan on owning the Bronco until it dies, then get whatever trim you think you will use. If you plan on owning it and selling it in the future, get the Badlands. Why? Swaybar disconnect is the answer. No other trim has the swaybar disconnect and if you are planning on resale value you MUST plan on an offroader wanting your rig. With that said, NO offroader wants your Bronco if it does not have swaybar disconnect. Enough said!
That makes no sense. Used cars buyers are less concerned with options in general than new car buyers. Plenty of buyers don't want the complexity. Sure Badlands will be worth more because it cost more new. Base with retain more of its value than expensive top models.
I sell cars. Used car buyers who can’t afford a new car or just the base model always go for a used car that is specd out the way they want. Unless they are payment buyers.

What is the purpose of the black handles on the top of the front fenders?
I ordered a Black Diamond and the only thing I’m annoyed about is that I can’t get the halo led headlights with it. But I’m still super stoked to get mine in 2040😂

I said the same thing.... Aftermarket lights or I'll just purchase the halo lights.
I actually prefer the soft-top, honestly. You can fold it back all the way, with only one person, and have the entire vehicle topless -- but the top is still there, ready to be put back in place, so if the weather changes, you're not stuck out in the elements with no top. Sure, you can carry the hard-top front panels with you, but not the middle panel, nor the bits over the cargo area, so if you go completely topless, you're just screwed if it starts to rain.
And, yeah, the soft-top is probably a smidge louder than the hard-top, but I daily drove a 2015 Mustang convertible for years (until I traded it in on a 2019 Ranger) and it really wasn't all *that* loud in there with its soft top. I'd imagine the Bronco's soft-top is very similar to the Mustang's.
Plus there's the added advantage of no delays on the soft-top Broncos, at least for now. (*knock on wood* I'm still waiting for a build-date on my 2022 Outer Banks 4-door soft top, so I guess that remains to be seen. LOL)
The winch mount that Ford has been showing never blocked the IC/Radar, just the parking sensors and partial camera blockage, I have no idea what winch mount you are talking about?
Got a big question is removing the doors a lot easier then a Jeep Wrangler tho we got a 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ coil spring Jeep with the Dana 35 rear and the dana 30 front axle but yeah great videos Mitchell watching from North Nashville Tennessee sir
What irks me is they put adaptive cruise on the Lux package. A feature toyota puts on all their cars as a safety feature. Also, you can only get 4 cup holders with leather seats. MGV doesn't have the center console fold down which is dumb. Also the movie clip is from the Sandlot!
Except Toyota's shuts off at 40 kph which is exactly when you want it. Drives me crazy.
Does the AC come on and off every time you hit a bump. Or has Ford fixed that problem.

At this point you'd likely be looking at a 2023-2024 delivery.
Hennessey has already tweaked the 2.7 V6 to gain 75 hp and 88 lbs of foot torque, they are calling the package the VelociRaptor 400. They are only starting off making 200 of them, probably will make more depending on how successful the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 sells in comparison.

OK. So must have accessories gas cap lock and some kind of fender tie-downs (zip ties?).
Soft top is 👌. Best option unless you live in a year round cold environment.
Is it possible to just buy both and put the hard-top on for the winter? Difficult?
You can get extension for soft top to fit a hard top
