it absolutely makes your hair follicles thicker, and it made my slightly wavy hair very wavy, it made my eyebrows thicker, multiple studies show a stimulating effect of red light, and combination laser and red light caps exist, the effect might be slight or lesser depending on your level of hair loss

would love a video about red light therapy in general and a new video about saunas. Was surprised saunas weren't mentioned in how not to age.

I used minoxidil but after 6 months my scalp reacted badly to is causing dermatitis. I had to stop. I then got a red light cap and it is slowly working to bring back hair. First to come back are the most recently lost. The parts that went bald 30 years ago are the slowest

Interestingly, sleep facilitates proper functioning of the hair follicle cells, those tunnel-shaped structures in the outer layer of the skin. Based on research, stress from lack of sleep can force hair follicles to stop producing new hair strands and cause reduced hair volume.

My good friend works for a hair transplant doctor. She tells me all this stuff works.
I was always skeptical and now I have the proof. I won't tell her b/c I value our friendship more than being right..

I do red light therapy daily, a cap, face, neck and décolleté. My derm was iffy on them, but I already have so I use. I use topical, take supplements and bhrt. I haven’t seen anything measurable.

Laser therapy and everything else i tried, failed to restore my hair. Then i found out from a native of the Philippines a traditional remedy called gugo vine bark which conveniently, is formulated in a shampoo. To make a long story short, in 6 months i regained a full head of hair.

Focus on other things that are imprtant for longevity: avoiding processed food, cigarettes, alcohol and so forth, exercising, sleeping well, eating other age fighting food (mango, strawberries, apples, lettuce, mushroom, tofu, pop corn, nuts and seed, to name a few from the Book)

Recently, a sugar found naturally in the body (2-deoxy-D-ribose) was shown to be as effective as minoxidil for the treatment of androgenic alopecia... though human trials haven't taken place yet. Unlike minoxidil, 2-deoxy-D-ribose isn't expected to cause side-effects and is (potentially) extremely cheap. I expect human trials will begin on TH-cam before any clinical trials are even designed. 😅

(Incidentally, Spanish children developed 'Werewolf Syndrome', after being given a drug containing minoxidil, although this doesn't seem to happen to adults taking it orally.)

He doesn't use lasers. If he did, it was only a trial. A recent video he posted give his current routine. It's mostly red light cap (which is not lasers), micro needling, a minoxidil concoction, finasteride, and then some injections he got. I don't remember the injections because I tend to ignore anything that is too costly, I'm fine with a $20 derma roller and minoxidil and my hair is doing quite well.

um yeah finasteride and minoxidil definitely work. I've been using them for 3 years now and have decent hair regrowth while my younger brothers are losing their hair.

@@hiyouseemcool Congrats, that's great news. I took them, too for a while with some effect, but stopped because I feared side effects. I am told it doesn't work well in the front part of the head in the long term. Especially for finasteride, I would be very afraid of side effects, because of its systemic effect on the male sexual hormone system. There is also post-finasteride syndrome which isn't very well understood. Minoxidil seems to be a safer option. I also heard it can be taken very low dose as a pill with even better effects.

@@misterx3188 Same. I used to take finasteride for years, with hair fairly decent results, but stopped when I read about side effects. Now balding but prefer that than risking my health. Also found an amazing wife who doesn't care about hairline :)
