Hi JR I’m in premed and I’m about to start as a full time volunteer firefighter/EMT while doing my biochem and anatomy year. I really needed to hear this thanks :)
Hi Josh! That’s cool to hear! I’m premed too and I just started full time volunteering as an EMT. I’m taking Biochem, Orgo, Microbio, and Immunology! I’m also applying to research programs and doing some shadowing next week! I also have a tutoring business where I’m getting some leadership experience from, and it’s pretty successful that allows me to pay for my daily expenses!
Thank you for this video, JR! Taking off the pressure to know everything has made it easier to retain most of what I’ve learned and makes studying fun.
Listen: I know that I'm in a totally different field, but this is extremely helpful for my journey in school psychology. This is extremely helpful, thanks JR!
I wished this video came out when I started med school a month ago. Glad I was already doing these tips though. Thank JR for continuing to be an inspiration!!
This comes down to efficiency. Finding ways to get as much active learning in over a short period of time. I’d recommend study habits like flash cards and practice questions over textbook reading and note taking in order to accomplish this
