    I have to say that you are THE MOST relatable med student person online. You give very helpful advice. I have 7 little kids and work full time and am applying for med school this year and SO much content out there is for single people with nothing to do but worry about school. Your methods and advice always work for me and help me figure things out. So THANK YOU!

      This message means so much! Thank YOU! I’m so happy to hear that you have been able to resonate with me and that my videos have been helpful in your journey! The experience you have raising 7 kids is going to equip you that much more to succeed in medical school and beyond!

    No way he's back! Been missing your content man! I would love to see vlog type videos of your day as a medstudent.. even if it's just you studying and talking to the camera lol. Definitely an inspiring figure for me as a premed student!

    This is great! I remember this being a challenge when I was in my third year. I'm in fellowship and these skills are still relevant. Great job!

    JR your videos are always right on time! Every phase I’ve had in med school you’ve been helpful in it. Can you make a video about how you actually ~learn~ from your practice questions? I be on UWorld getting tagged fam 🤧😂

    • @EvolvingMedic
      @EvolvingMedic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m glad you liked it! And I suspended the solely step 1 cards, but left the cards the had step 2 tags in the rotation

    As a medical student do you hire an editor or do it yourself with your REALLY tight schedule?

    • @EvolvingMedic
      @EvolvingMedic  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I edit all my own videos lol. We’ll see if that continues in the future though 😅

    How can i find premade cards ?

    • @EvolvingMedic
      @EvolvingMedic  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There are a lot throughout various Reddit threads, but I just recommend using the Anking deck. It basically has everything. All you need to do is google that deck and you can find more info on their website

    Random question. Where do you get your suit(s)?

    • @EvolvingMedic
      @EvolvingMedic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve gotten them at different places depending on where the sale is 😅. Men’s warehouse and Macys are usually where I look first though

    What Anki decks do you recommend for 3rd year?

    • @EvolvingMedic
      @EvolvingMedic  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the Anking deck is fantastic. I recommend using the most update version and even considering AnkiHub where you will have the most up to date cards

    Thanks for the info! I'm starting M3 soon and had a question if you don't mind. Did you do all the Step 2 associated Anking cards during rotations, and if so, did you have the time to keep this up over every clerkship? Or would you recommend only unsuspending cards associated with UWorld incorrects to save some time? Thanks so much!

    • @EvolvingMedic
      @EvolvingMedic  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Fantastic question! I would recommend only unsuspending cards associated with UWorld. When you go into dedicated, you can pick up some of the lower-yield ones if you, but I think it’s a good move to focus on the high yield ones that are showing up in questions.
      Good luck as you start M3! It’s a busy but extremely rewarding season!

    Out of curiosity, did you remove your AnKing step 1 cards for clerkship or did you keep them in rotation?

    • @EvolvingMedic
      @EvolvingMedic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! I removed them after finishing step 1, which for my school happened before beginning clerkships. But I know some schools do things differently.

    • @ChunkyBuster225
      @ChunkyBuster225 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, that’s how our school is! However, a few of us were able to take it and bypass that policy. Waiting on scores now and just praying it went well. Now I’m just wondering what to do with all the step 1-only tagged cards. I guess I’ll suspend them like you did and only keep the step 1 + step 2 cards in the AnKing Deck. Thanks for the info!

    Hi, I have a question. how much free time do you get after coming to your home, after stressful clinical duties

    • @EvolvingMedic
      @EvolvingMedic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the day. Some days I get home around 3pm and have much of my evening to relax, and other days it’s closer to 6pm and I have just enough time to study for a bit and eat dinner lol. But on average, I have enough time to relax on the couch with my wife and watch 30-60 minutes of tv before bed
