As someone who ran a venue for years and has seen The Chariot live many times, I absolutely loved going to their shows……at someone else’s venue hahahaha. So much fun!
I've been a fan of the Chariot fpr well over 10 years, and there has never been a band that has made me so happy to see live and hear as The Chariot. Their final tour meant the worldbto me and getting to be a part of it was the best!! There will never be another #longlive
I didn't know this about this band until I saw the last minutes of their set at the last date at warped in 2013. Needless to say, when i found out they were breaking up a month later, I was pretty devastated. There isn't a band in this world that runs chills up my spine quite like this one. Long Live.
I'm way late, but check out The Callous Daoboys. I didn't know of The Chariot back then and am just now finding out about them through finding out about the Daoboys
@@zeroethsort1071 I would also recommend The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir out of Savanah. Carson from Daoboys did a cover of David De La Hoz with THGTC at Fest last year.
The chariot was my first “metal” concert in early high school (like 2005?). I was never the same (seems silly to say but you who saw them will understand). There will never be another band as incredible as The Chariot. Long Live. 🫡
@@zachhoward4033Sorry for seeing this a year too late. The Georgia Department of Transportation forced all of the stores in that shopping center out so they could build a road through where they were. GA DOT didn’t offer them enough money to be able to find another venue at a comparable price to what they were paying at the time so they had to close down.
Well I definitely just cried for 32 minutes straight. And then another 3 minutes because I found the full vid of Deaf Policeman (/watch?v=2bqQzRSDLlk). What a blessing it was to be able to hear them speak their peace. Long Live!
@@justinstewart3248 yes, at this point Wolf had left the band and Brandon (i believe) had started using a signal splitter + pitch shift + a bass amp to get the low end
My 17th birthday. I wasn't able to go. Played many shows with the chariot and at this venue. Could never get into the chariot all that much. But I can't deny the impact they had on douglasville
I still feel bad for that kid who got the rope down. He definitely chose to jump down when no one was looking. Josh had a really funny story about that after the show, haha.
Noah Rubin Excuse me for paraphrasing it poorly at this point. "We were at high school one day at front playing hacky sack, right in front of those big arching pillars that connect to the gymnasium, and this friend of mine decided to climb to the top. One of the other guys all of sudden yelled "teacher!", which he lied, and so the friend decided to just jump down, but he didn't jump outwards he went straight down. So when he landed, he broke both of his ankles. So when I saw that guy jump down from the rafters, which I was waiting for him to jump when everyone was looking, and he went at the worst possible time, and he jumped straight down just like my friend -- so I was just like, "yeah, he just broke both his ankles.""

I love how there was like 100 stage dives before the first song even started.
Nathan Mowery I was just thinking about how funny it was that the crowd was moshing before they started playing.
I continue to come back to this set every year. It's 2019 and I wish another band like this with the same passion were around.
The Callous Daoboys
Fever333
There are. Nostalgia is a helluva thing.
The Callous Daoboys
THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS BABY
i really regret only seeing them once.
I didn't get it until now, I wasn't able to. Now I wish I had The Chariot around.
I cry every time, when I hear "The City". So much emotions.

Man.. it's been so long since this happened and I still get tears when I listen to the City

there is so much sadness knowing that we will never feel the same way we did in a the chariot pit again. thanks for this video it means so much.
They took with them the heart of hardcore. This wasn’t just TC’s farewell, this was hardcore’s farewell, too.

Thanks for this. I was down by the stage and it was complete pandemonium. No one who was there will ever forget this show!
For sure! I went down there at one point to have a little fun and it was insane!
HOW AM I JUST NOW, IN THE LAST DAYS OF 2018, FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS BAND?!?!?!?!

Wait just a burger-flipping second. Is that KC screaming with Stevis at 23:14?!
Yup, he came out for that song.
First time I saw them was in 2005 with Underoath and Josh did the whole set shirtless with a hairnet on.
Of course all hell would break loose before they even start playing.... that's The Chariot for ya... Gonna miss these guys.
this video burns... but disappointed i was not
we know you are

It was a highlight for everyone else as well! haha especially when the owner of The 7 Venue came out and threw you in the crowd.

Did they play this show without a bass player???

thinkingjack I think they stopped being endorsed in 2010 or 2011. I might be wrong though!
That's probably about right, thats around the time that even Norma Jean stopped being endorsed too
Millennial pits .... Lame.
thanks for 30% of each song-__-
Dude. I was at concert. I wasn't about to stand there the whole time and film it.
Long live.
