For anyone wondering, In Summit Pt.2, the quote at the end is in Polish. It translates to, “And there in that place, that loneliness is one that you pick yourself, you don’t treat it like a bad thing, it’s simply accepted, it’s that moment where you can simply be there and even be happy because of that loneliness, and especially be happy because of returning to other people soon.”
Great album bro, keep evolving
Damn that frames the song super well
I love this quote, thanks for the translation.
Really cool fact about this album, listen to the ending of Summit Pt.2, notice anything? It’s the exact same as the intro to Couloir. It perfectly transitions throughout the song, and then it loops at the end back to the beginning as if it was starting the climb all over again.
Yessir! It’s from polish mountaineer Wanda rutkeiwicz talking about summiting a mountain that’s what the “in that place” is referring to the peak- about the loneliness of being in the mountains but the internal growth u get for when u return

I forgot how much I fucking love FMTY like it’s so fucking good. And tbh with IDMTHY and Scrapyard, FMTY is underrated AF.
This was filmed before quarantine, meaning it took him over a year of hard work to make this. Wow.

Ty for keeping me hyped for the album in 2020! Because of u im listening to this masterpiece rn.
man I don’t care what any reviewer or fantano says, this album is incredibly accomplished and heartfelt. I was unaware of quadeca before this album but then found Sisyphus and decided to check out the album. The fact that a ‘TH-cam rapper’ could make art as deep as this caught me off guard and made me realise, he isn’t and shouldn’t be labelled like any other. ‘TH-cam rapper’ is an insult, fuck labels. This man obviously has so much depth and talent for not only his songwriting, but also production. Take the last pieces for example (summit Pt 1 & 2), cmon now, the layers, the ambient sounds, the build, the coming full circle with the concept and completing the journey. Like that shit could honestly be turned into a stage production showing the summit on stage, imagine it.
Anyway just wanted to say that quadeca made a masterpiece of an album that is severely underrated. Yes, there are some short comings, but honestly this is just straight up pure art with production so good that is rivals or surpasses producers who devote their whole lives to the craft. Like the fact that this is self produced just blows my mind. Never stop man, keep reaching higher and higher. The world is a better place with your spirit in it.

I agree with fantano's 5, but that's not because I think that quadeca is a bad artist; its just that I believe that this album is only the tip of the iceberg that we have seen from quadeca. Now that he's improved his production, will he improve his songwriting and lyrical themes his next album? I think so, and I hope for the best.
@@creativecontent3987 same here. I would give it more than a 5 but Fantano criticism on his writing and vocal delivery are on point.

this is a masterpiece - it feels like I've been waiting my whole life to hear music like this. the mountainous ambience especially adds a feeling of content loneliness to the music that just can't be replicated anywhere else, there's a sort of ominous sense of nostalgia that is obsessive and yearns to be explored

This album to me is a metaphor for what life really is and what it brings along the way and I feel that you brilliantly captured that concept with this. This must have taken so much effort from you and I respect that work-ethic more than you realize but I hope you know that even since you started making music, I believe you really showed a new level of growth and maturity, and as you grow and slowly make your way through this maze called "life," music will always be here for you so I applaud your efforts and will offer this advice, hold fast to your passion and don't lose sight of your dream, because life is like a river, and you are just entering its stream.

Fr I’m only on Sisyphus which I’ve heard tons of times now and I’m exited
I've never heard your music before, TH-cam autoplayed me off of Tom MacDonald's Snowflakes. Unimportant. What's awesome, is how the first minute of this in full, has led me calm for the entirety, I really appreciate this. Truly don't know whether or not it's some other variable, but I can confidentally say I've not reached this point in any other point of my life so far.
It's a sense of relief that hadn't existed before for over 20 years.
I never listen to music because I enjoy it. Usually just some complextro or whatever works to satiate the racing parts of my mind in order to focus, run down/suppress mental energy enough to sleep, et cetera. Before that I actually just thoroughly hated music, especially vocals. Although not most instrumentals, which were at best tollerable, until my brain encapsulated them after enough time passed, where the song would just get agitating since it wasn't necessary to listen to any longer due to a relative idetic memory of it.
First time I can truly say I love any piece of music, for real. Normally saying so would be a lie in some capacity because of a first impression, waning interest, or other reason. Specifically being... I am at home with the lyrics, the composition of everything involved, there is no isolated part screaming from inside a basement, disengenuinely proclaiming that there is wealth in it's company, only to confidentally lie in my face afor conversation be damned. It is wholehearted ever-present, a complete collaboration between all elements, sparking pure joy by the music's truth and honesty. Whether this is being fun, anxious, sombre, as it goes, there is always appreciation interwoven of the fabric at every moment.
I have been listening to this in it's entirety here and on soundcloud multiple times a day since I discovered this, dated of the original comment. It's as if my soul cannot grow tired of how fulfilling From Me To You is, while growing evermore capable for journeying through once again and again.
Thank you immensely for sharing your awe inspiring music, it is wholly beautiful, and I truly appreciate it. I wish that there was some method or way I could pay forward my gratitude, but it is simply unbeknownst to me as to how I am capable, apart from retaining the gift of the presence of mind to try and bring to fruition to another what has been done for me.
tldr: Music now holds a special place in my heart, no strings attached.

Quadeca you self produced this as in the beats and everything??? This is so good bro reminds me of a different style of tame impala but more modern music
probably a little help from a producer(probably mike g), but yeah he did most of it. extremely impressive
I know for a fact track #10 is prod triplesixdelete
Quadeca produced a majority of the album, although he bought beats that were produced by other producers: LUCAS QUINN (Track 8; Maybe Another Day...), triplesixdelete/pilotkid/MADXDAMN (Track 10; Burnin Bridges / Long Day) and NiklāvZ (Track 16; Where'd You Go?) adding additional production to each of these tracks.
*Edit:* Also MADXDAMN co produced Track 10
Quadeca also notes in his Quadeca Exclusives video using a seperate session drummer for Sisyphus. Also if you look at his Logic breakdown for the song, you can see some file names with "Fiverr" in the title, implying he paid for some production element off Fiverr, which could be these additional session drummers (or even violinists) he mentioned.
