I love some of the lyric tie-ins on this album. In Alone Together, he says that life is like a treadmill where you think everything is working out but you're still in the same place. This ties into Work! where the intro sounds like a treadmill and the entire song's theme encompasses the fact that they are just working out for the hell of it or until something eventually works, when in reality they aren't going to go anywhere and are on the metaphorical treadmill. On Summit Pt1, it alludes to These Days on voice memos when he says, "But honestly, 'These Days' still hits on most days." (Btw that song does in fact hit on most days lol) I also love how the outro leads into the intro, which makes it more cohesive and reinforces the theme that Scru was talking about how there are tons of mountains you will have to climb and it will never end, and this album is one of those mountains. My favorite track lyrically is Summit Pt1 and my favorite sounding track is Maybe Another Day. My favorite verse is the verse after the beat switches on Burnin Bridges (That hits so hard) All around an amazing album and will constantly be coming back to it.
I skipped out on Voice Memos, always wanted to listen to it but never did, but goddamn I love From me to you! Such a good job, definitely one of the best albums of 2021
I was listening to Radiohead’s Kid A in the past week. I admire how they don’t necessarily invite you into their world, but you hit “play” and there you are. I think Quad holds that same sort of magic. I appreciate it when he does little handholding, paints an abstract, and leaves it up to us whether we choose to grasp onto it.
I agree with the interludes serving their purpose when I listen to the whole album but I personally didn't add them to any of my playlists. I really like a lot of the songs for the content you're rapping about and when I'm not in the mood for them they do just kinda feel like they're time wasters. I'd listen to them if I was going on a hike but not just at work or something.
he did Shades of Us dirty mann, it was one of the best songs on the album imo, also how did he not even talk about It's All a Game???? literally a nutty track
@Isaiah Byrd but It’s All a Game is one of the tracks that pops out the most especially with the themes, tone, and incredible singing I’d expect him to talk about a track like that, obviously I’m not going to complain that he didn’t talk about the interludes much or whatnot (even though they are still good) cause except for Swallowed the Key, they are not stand out tracks

People Pleaser is such an underrated track I vigorously nod my head throughout its entirety
They were all amazing songs, but Candles on Fire is probably my favorite!
I skipped out on Voice Memos, always wanted to listen to it but never did, but goddamn I love From me to you! Such a good job, definitely one of the best albums of 2021
The three best tracks he went fully quiet. Damn
FMTY is not an, album it's an experience for real!
Shades of us was my favorite just because of the dad bods line. I felt that lmao
I love everything about the album lol. I listen to it almost 100% of the time at school really just great keep it up. love u man
dont even know who you are but it was so cool watching you do this and I'm really happy for you!
‘Where’d you go’ is a banger bro - it’s good to get feedback / reviews but ultimately you should always continue to do what you feel is best🙌🏼
My boy back on that yt grind! 🔥🔥🔥
It’s ok Sisyphus. Keep climbing that mountain🔥🔥
I don't understand Fantano tbh, I loved FMTY it made me cry no shit and I don't cry... Like at all. Keep up the good work Quad!! ❤
I have never heard of Quadeca but now I am intrigued and interested
Candles on fire, shades of us, smiling at the ground, sisiphisusis and where'd you go are the best
Sisiphisius💀
It’s all a game too
Sisiphususis
Sisiphisusis
i like where’d you go but it doesn’t fit with the album
I’m actually so impressed with the production on your album Quadeca. It matches vibey production and crazy in your face production
im glad we got some shades of us defense, my current favorite song
Props to you for being cool abt the critiques. I cant say I would react as well as you especially to something I spent so much time on.
wow. he always working on the new album
I wonder what fantano is finna say about his new record, cause WOW HIS NEW RECORD is crazy
he did Shades of Us dirty mann, it was one of the best songs on the album imo, also how did he not even talk about It's All a Game???? literally a nutty track
@Isaiah Byrd but It’s All a Game is one of the tracks that pops out the most especially with the themes, tone, and incredible singing
I’d expect him to talk about a track like that, obviously I’m not going to complain that he didn’t talk about the interludes much or whatnot (even though they are still good) cause except for Swallowed the Key, they are not stand out tracks
now he got a Light 9, congrats Quad 🗣️
when he puts his phone on do not disturb yk hes fr😫👍🏼
Ngl the winter landscape ambient interludes are extremely cool. Reminds me of some of the best Paysage d’Hiver albums
