I wanna comment on the track "Good luck Chuck" real quick. I've read a few reviews that think that the story is about chuck murdering the girl, and i thought this to for a long time because i never listened closely to the lyrics and i suspect others didn't either. Good luck chuck is a story about the girl killing chuck in self defense after he unsuccessfully attempts to kill her. if you think about it, it makes more sense that way anyway even without the ending lyrics most people gloss over because kill bill wouldn't have known all the details of the story if she had died. dunno if you're still hearting comments or pinning Bill/Boar/Jinzo, but i would appreciate it if you did that if you read this so anyone who looks at the comments understands the song better

I dunno if you're still around here Kill Bill, but know that there's not a day that goes by without me listening to tracks from this. All my friends listen to it too. Good stuff bud.
Is it weird that for the past 5 Months i've been listening to all of Kill Bill's and Rav's albums almost everyday? I know most people get tired of songs after hearing them a good 50 times but no matter how much i listen to them i always fall in love with their songs all over again. Their songs are the only songs i can truly connect too, they got me through dark times and i'm glad to bring them into the happy times with me.
Nah man, I had a phase like that back in the summer of 2019. I probably listened to Ramona, Vestiges, and New Moon over 50 times each. I seriously have never heard any subgenre of rap (or of any type of music) that speaks to me the same way both Bill and Rav’s does on so many levels. Not to mention when they come together on a track or album it has a whole new and great feel.
I'm in the exact same boat, man. Life's been all over the place and their music makes it a lot easier to get through all the shit. I'm glad to know I'm not alone with this.
I think the line, "Kill myself? Y'all'd be borderline bastards" off of FVCK is one of my favorite lines on the album tbh. It seemed like a throwaway bar when I first heard it but it is so good imo. Saying that he hasn't come up or married the game or really otherwise been recognized on a large scale yet, but he knows that when this shit drops the same people that are hating on him on him will be imitating his style or kinda are like his stylistic children. I just love that he just runs straight through such a good bar and doesn't even acknowledge it like that type of writing is just second nature to him.

vestiges and Ramona were my first intro to the EXO crew and rap as a whole and god damn was it a good impression, even after listeing to the album on reapeat for a year and a half every track is still a banger. i swear you and the EXO crew are gonna be on top eventually keep killing the mic Bill
This album is literally a timeless classic, it still goes hard at NINE years old.
What I want to say is thank you for this album man, I appreciate this, it got me through a time whenever i was close to killing myself, and it sort of just calmed me down from crying at ranodm intervals of time and or just whatever stressful or anxiety ridden was going on through my life I could just listen to most of this album and be calmed down, especially because of the calmer songs in it. I was in an abusive relationship with my ex girlfriend, and also just living a hard time. So basically this album helped me through most of it. I dont know what else to say, but im glad to sat that I was able to find this masterpiece of an album a year ago and be able to just listen to it and be instantly fine, and cope without unhealthy methods. You obviously arent going to see this, but in the 0.01 percent chance that you do, I just want you to know that i appreciate this and basically its my favorite album now, and probably forever will be. Keep up the good shit broh.
hope your doing better man!

Honestly always thought this album was way more well known than it apparently is. Goes to show the quality of it. Utter shame it’s not talked about nearly as much as it needs to be, it’s excellent.
THE DREAM EATER SAMPLE IS ALSO SAMPLED IN A JPEG MAFIA SONG WHEN HE WAS KNOWN AS DEVON HENDRYX OMFG IVE BEEN LISTENING TO BOTH OF YOU FOR SO LONG AND JUST NOTICED IT (the sample is love won’t let me wait by Major Harris and the jpegmafia/Devon Hendryx song is ‘HOW I MET NOLA DARLING...’)
This album is one of my favorites of all time. Each track has an impact on me that I can't even describe. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves one day
There is no possible way I could explain how this album makes me feel
KB is easily in my top 10 of most underrated rappers ever
This album will never leave my rotation.
6 years strong
Wow. I listened to this on and off. Sometimes just repeating certain songs that were initially catchier. But I just finished the album in one sitting and I'm genuinely impressed.

Been using Backwoods as my morning alarm throughout the pandemic and it helps me get through the day, I always let the whole thing play before I get outa bed and make myself some coffee lol
