Patience brother, I've put イレギュラーよりの使者 on the list for like 4 months and he hasn't played it yet. Just waiting till he gets one of his metal phases again and he'll play a bunch in a short time
It's pretty much entirely become the norm in Japan. There are still people using Miku (V4, not NT) specifically for the artificial sound but outside of Miku and maybe Kaai Yuki Vocaloid in particular has really fallen out of favor- CeVIO (KAFU, RIME, etc.) was pretty popular for a while and now SynthV (Kasane Teto SV, Koharu Rikka, etc.) is pretty popular. This isn't even the first time Utsu-P's used a non-Vocaloid bank: Collage, dislike, and SUSHI-GO-ROUND just to name some of his recent stuff all use CeVIO banks. Between the Miku V4 users, UTAU users, and Kaai Yuki users, I'd honestly say the scene is about half and half right now. There's even some people who make songs that use both Kasane Teto SV and her UTAU bank in the same song. In general I think it's a pretty good thing. To be honest the stranglehold Vocaloid had on this scene of music was extremely abnormal with it being basically the only option for 10+ years. Now we finally have healthy competition from other players. Unfortunately it doesn't look like Vocaloid has been able to keep up as Yamaha is a large company and that makes it hard for them to pivot quickly- Vocaloid 5 was an abject failure with like 4 voice banks for the whole generation and it's clear they put a can on it to push out Vocaloid 6 as soon as possible, and even then it was still extremely slow and CeVIO/SynthV had stolen the initiative. Miku moving away from being on V5/6 to be on her own engine (NT) was a bold move but given that most people are still using her V4 and Crypton's development of NT has been as slow as molasses (I mean they only have Miku NT done, not even Rin/Len, and it's been like 3 or 4 years now??) basically coasting on Project Sekai money... I do hope a commercial synth that focuses on sounding more artificial comes out as there's now a gap in that market to the point that UTAU is having to fill it, but the fate of Miku and Vocaloid in general isn't looking super hot right now.

Wow! This song is actually better with your cover than the original! I didn't like this song when I first heard it but now it's acceptable 😅
I cant listen to it either, the thumbnail is too creepy for me 😢
I hope UtsuP doesn't start using Vocaloid6 all the time
