Great job guys! It is obvious that timing is a big deal when dealing with concrete. It takes real experience to balance the work properly and you guys hit the nail right on the head.
One finisher to another, amazing job guys. Anytime you are initial cutting joints off of sliders is a sucky day. Way to get it back, hopefully you went out and grabbed some cervezas for the guys, they earned it.
Love the way you did the sloping kerbs where the apron meets the road. Here in the UK they tend to be placed in by the local council pre-made. Great job
Most cities make you Cut 12" off the asphalt face so you can form the concrete and then you have to re lay the asphalt new infront. That way thr concrete doesnt lock in with the asphalt and cause pre-mature failure due to water inteusion. Nice job!!! Amazing last second diamond set. Surprised you guya agreed to the customer for that last minute change with that high slump
Hope this doesn't sound bad. I have a lot of respect to my Hispanic brothers who are not afraid or embarrassed to try to speak english. Those who try know and get it, communication is $$ for there families.
Hi, I’m trying to get something done with similar result in Louisiana. What type of concrete do you guys use? The concrete I see out here has rocks and looks different.
So sick seeing a crew hammering jobs out, Why arent these driveays in the north/New England?! Id love to do yhese instead of pavers, how do they last during winter/being plowed?
@OdellCompleteConcrete is there any way you can send me a link please to that website. For whatever reason, I can not find those brooms.. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Hi. I have notice that you are using a bucket to wet your brush bit by bit. instead of that it would be better if you got a long decorators trof to wet your brush it would save time and be less of a hasel.
Good to see dudes with skills, knowledge and experience. Amazing work.
Much appreciated!

Yes they had some for sure 🤙
Awesome results, great to see skilled crew's work.
Nice job sir., did concrete work in 1980 in Tucson AZ. 4 5 years. Had to leave to hot for me. Like your Chanel reminds me of the old days.
Very cool! Thanks for watching!

Depends on the street condition. Either way you'll get water intrusion.
You could slap some emulsion on the side of the asphalt though
Awesome and that crew got mad skills!
You got that right!
Great job! Image doing this job on a busy street vs at a quiet cul de sac!
Yes it made it nicer
The guy who's building the brick wall you should give him the nickname goggles😂😂😂😂😂
Why goggles, his nickname is ant 🐜
You love your work it shows outstanding
Thank you so much 😀

Exactly, we are also learning Spanish
@OdellCompleteConcrete 👍👍 ive seen that from you guys. Your team got to know your expectations which keeps money in your pockets.

Another great job!!!
Thanks again!
Nice work brothers. Easy money.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ty
Beautiful as always
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks GREAT
Thank you!
Awesome work boys ! Still watching from the u.k
Awesome! Thank you!
Do the home owners own the curb and sidewalk part of the driveway down in Cali? Up where I live in Canada you can’t touch it.
So sick seeing a crew hammering jobs out, Why arent these driveays in the north/New England?! Id love to do yhese instead of pavers, how do they last during winter/being plowed?
They're the best.
No snow in Southern California. So nobody gets concrete driveways back there, just asphalt or pavers mostly?
Could you say how much homeowner paid for that? It would be nice to know what I could expect to pay
7500
How much does it cost for a concrete pumper to come out to you guys? Do they charge hourly if so how much an hour
They charge about $250 for setup and $10 for every yard poured. So 10 yards would be $350
Nice! Around how much is a job like this?
7500
@@OdellCompleteConcrete nice! I’ll be reaching out soon for a quote!
Do you all still use fiberglass rebar?
Occasionally
11:21 So the City wants you to make it easier for them if they have to get up & do something...? 3250 is below your typical standard, right?
Yes we typically pour at 3500 for our clients. We also always add rebar or fiber mesh or some type of reinforcement where the city won’t let you
Wow . $1200 for that entire job. What a steal
Where can i order a broom like the one you used in thia video the 50/50?
Roseburrough
@OdellCompleteConcrete is there any way you can send me a link please to that website. For whatever reason, I can not find those brooms.. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Very very nice....
Thanks a lot

Good idea might have to try that
I can’t believe the owners didn’t dig up their own plants! That shouldn’t have been y’all’s job!❤❤❤
Sometimes they do
finishing agent, pro tip, will help in flah sets, dark from mix needs to be miniuim 150 revolotuions , on arrival
I think it's from a hot load and maybe to much water on the broom
Honey, I can't afford a diamond, so I'll give you this diamond driveway instead.
It’s the biggest diamond she’ll be getting around here 😉
Curious why the diamond pattern wasn't saw cut like your Dad does in previous videos
Homeowner preference
Nice 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
In SE La. We could not put that bed up agains a brick wall of the house. Termites would have direct path to house frame.
That's a brick fireplace
What’s the best way to do a radius concrete saw cut ?
Free hand
@@OdellCompleteConcrete so would I have to freehand with a smaller saw or a regular 14 in demo saw ?
Either or but if it’s a long radius I’d do a 14” free hander action.
Negotiating the price AFTER the job has already started?? That sounds crazy. Why?
It happens when things change
That was probably just the diamond grid pattern that they sold on customer later or customer asked if could do that late
👍👍
👍
🎉🎉😂 😅 easy money🎉🎉😂.... Not really...🎉🎉😂JJ...
Good stuff 👌
Never put exposed aggreate if your going walk on the area your feet will get torn up.
Not with tumbled rock
Any water added usually results in dark spots
Interesting
@@OdellCompleteConcrete while finishing or brooming
Dark spots from steel trowel.
Y'all gave it a burn finish like an interior pad then broomed it
