Unless you are producing for artists, I think the least of anyone's worries is clearing a sample. For your typical TH-cam/bedroom beat maker, sample whatever you like and don't worry about clearing anything. I don't think anyone is really going to care.

Can you show us an R&B beat without samples on the mpc live? I do a lot of R&B and Neo soul type of stuff and I wanna see how the mpc live could handle it.
This is a great question, I think the MPC has some pretty great plug-ins that could get you a similar sound of an SP, but if you have the extra cash to invest, I would still get that SP404
I use spotify to find everything to sample but my line in (mpc x) sounds terrible can you make a tutorial how to correctly sample from iphone / mini jack 3.5 (basicly) ? Thanks for your work
If you have a Mac, I'd recommend buying Sound Siphon. I think it's $30 and it's works well for me. You can sample any audio through your computer. I've also tried Loopback, but I had issues with it on a newer Mac. If you just want to go theough your phone, and you are having issues, it's most likely the cable. Cheap cables can give a hum or low volume sometimes. What's the issue exactly?

I use Apple Music from an iPad with headphone out, but now using an android device with apple music going into SP404MK2 to MPC live 2 in.
