I laughed so hard the first time you said "HM slave" because I knew what was coming and my hubby thought something was wrong with me.
This Bidoof is a girl! You can tell by the number of tail floofs: males have five of them, females only have three.

The Trainer might also possibly be a girl, but the best evidence I can find is the fact that her Poketch is pink (which is kinda what the Sinnoh games do, y'know).

@@gemzdesu The trainer probably returned Bidoof to its Poké ball because it was aware of how brutally it could destroy Gengar XD
@@du5637 its because bidoof only knows rollout and cut in this apparently, so im guessing he cant actually touch gengar because cut is a normal type move and even tho rollout is rock type, this animation shows it as just rolling, so im guessing it wouldnt touch gengar
