If you keep exploring snowy areas beware of powder snow - it's deadly. If you make and wear leather boots, you can walk on it no problem, but without you'll sink in and freeze to death.
I know so scary! Luckily I have stayed in the caves but I haven't seen a single cow in my entire world!!
Enderman tips:
Always carry at least one boat.
Put the boat on the ground near an enderman.
Look at the ground while pushing the enderman to the boat if it doesn't get in immediately.
Now, you can take your time killing the enderman.
And now to figure out how to craft a boat lol

I’m a fiend for cave spelunking. Heres a tip: carry a bucket of water. 1: if there’s a big drop you don’t have to worry about building to get down there, just put the water on the edge, wait for it to get to the bottom, and use the water as a elevator 2: just in case you fall in lava 😊 can’t wait for pt 4

Your videos are really sweet lol! I really recommend getting a proper ranged weapon like a bow though, you can set up a fletcher at the village to buy arrows. Snowballs are fun and all but they don't do any damage. In time if you get a bow enchanted with Punch II, Power V and Infinity you can really kick ass 😎
Here I was thinking I was being resourceful with my snowballs, darn. Thank goodness I have two villages by me! Time to become an archer!!
Fighting endermen is actually super easy. Just stand under a tree or other structure that is two blocks tall with a block length between you then hit them repeatedly.
You can also stand in a patch of water - they won't enter water.
And don't use a bow - arrows bounce off of them.

@@millenniumtree hmm you are right, they do not like water but... in hard can they hit even when the player are in the water which may lead to Slain by enderman, well they have harder to do it, but they can, so water is safe as long player is fully under waterline or till the enderman loosing its interest, unsure if this is a new feature or it has always been so
@@istvanbarta best way to kill enderman, i saw a clip once a person had built a powered railway , the person looked on a enderman which start screaming and run towards the player,but the player placed a mincart on the railway and dumb enderman got stuck in the cart and then bye bye enderman, at end of the railway was lava and there was no cart anymore and about the enderrman...

this is a little combat skill- axes can do more damage than swords at times if used correctly! they’re mainly good for fighting singular mobs, and if you’re fighting multiple mobs then swords are better since they have a larger range. a good technique is jump attacks, you jump and then swing your weapon at the mob on your way down and it deals more damage and saves durability on your weapon!

Caving tips:
Only place torches on the left walls when going away from home and if light is needed towards the right put a torch on the floor to the right.
Why only left on the walls? Because you don't want to get left behind and when you're going back home and asking if you're going the right way, you'll see torches on your right and know you're right in choosing that direction.
And now, this will be a core memory that you'll tell grandkids about and they'll roll their eyes and say, "Sure, Grandma. You explored caves."

Put a torch next to the water and it won't freeze. It will also make the plants grow faster. You can farm underground or in your house! You just need light, water, and soil.

There are three main ways to fight an Enderman:
1. Jump in some water. They're allergic to it, so they won't follow you. The drawback is that water isn't always available.
2. Stand under a roof. They're taller than you, so if you have a 3x3 platform just above your head, they won't be able to get to you. A tunnel that's at least 2 blocks long works as well.
3. Put them in a boat and hit it while it's sitting in the boat. This method is the most convenient to set up, but it requires some technique to perform safely, so I'd advise against it for now. I'd still recommend having a boat on hand though, it's a very useful item.
I'd also advise against exploring caves when you're looking for diamonds and recommend digging a tunnel instead. I'd be happy to elaborate if you're interested, but this comment is getting long enough as it is.
All of this is fantastic, I am leaning to using the water method. Please expand on the tunnel idea I am interested!!
Good job with the farm, maybe someting like a greenhouse may be easier to have for your field to ensure nothing freezes and 1 block of water is enough to hold a field on 9x9 area, like 4 field from north, 1 block water, 4 field to south, same about west to east, dont forget to light up or you maybe have a monsterhouse ;-)
you should make a pair leather boots to be safe in the snow, with other footwear you may sink in powdered snow, if you sink do you get rush time while you get cold and slowly eventual freeze to death, on some places can the snow be deep

@@isis_lisette i missed to say that i have only been playing on older versionsso when i wanted play minecraft have i not been able to use waterlogging, example waterlog leafs or fence pole so i use to cover the waterblock with a half slabso i dont have to be careful when i run over it, if i plant and have a open waterblock is in the way when i plant maybe i end up in the waterand jumps up from the water do i often knock away the plant when i landing, if i place a full block on the water maybe i decide to jump up on the block instead of go around it anduse to end up in knock away the plant, but with a half slab can i run over it as careless i want and ignore its existence hehe
Snow golems are pretty useless lol. Try iron golems. You to make iron blocks and place them like a T I believe.

The gold armor in the nether portal chest is there to distract piglins while you are in the nether; they will attack you if you aren't wearing any gold. They will also attack you if you open a chest or break any gold ore blocks. If you are ever gold rich you can drop a gold ingot (not a nugget or block) and they will drop one of several items, usually multiple of the mundane items (leather, gravel, obsidian, spectral arrows, boots with soul speed, soul speed books, etc.).
Lapis is used with an enchanting table. The table will consumes 1, 2, or 3 lapis and your levels to place one known enchantment onto an unenchanted item/tool/book with potentially more unlisted enchantments when high consumption options are chosen. The enchanting table can be upgraded by placing up to 15 bookshelves 1 block away from the table with nothing in between; fully upgraded table's 3 lapis slot will consume 3 levels and require that you have at least 30 levels. The table recipe uses 4 obsidian, 2 diamonds, and 1 book. A grindstone can be used to disenchant an item and provides a little return to your levels; great when disenchanting overflow items from a mob grinder. Fortune 3 is highly suggested on your pickaxe when mining diamonds or any other ores as, with diamonds, you get a 20% chance of getting 2, 3, or 4 diamonds from a single ore block with an average of 2.2 diamonds per block.
If a wondering trader shows up you can corral one, or both, of the lamas and get the lead(s) to snap. Then you can place a fence post in your house and leash your rabbit to the fence post to keep it from running off. Otherwise, you could get a slime balls from slime cubes (found deep in slime chunks) and some string to make your own leads.
A bucket of water is invaluable when mining or simply roaming the overworld. You can use it to make a column to swim up and down, it can push mobs back, if you catch fire it will put you out, if you time it right you can place it down while falling and not take damage, and it can keep creepers from damaging blocks when they blow. On blowing creepers, you can use your flint and steel to manually trigger the creepers to blow after a short delay. A block at your feet between you and a blowing creeper will also mitigate most of it's blast damage (you take blast damage at your feet).
I haven’t been in the nether since they made it all crazy. I will be sure to travel with gold for trading!
And ohhh okay great to know that’s what I will use all the lapis for. I haven’t done any enchanting really so it’s gonna be a learning curve, but fortune sounds amazing.

On a hardcore , fighting mobs shouldn’t be your priority since they do more damage in this mode. Only fight if you have to fight. Securing renewable food , shelter and enchanted diamond armor (at least) is the main things. One more thing , if you can place torches on the zombie dungeon spawner you found and kill the zombies.Don’t break it you will need it later, trust me

If you need a plan on what to do to progress, look at your achievements. Try to do the undone ones in order. Also I understand you don’t want to eat meat but it is some of the best food in the game. Veggies are amongst the worst… unless if it’s golden carrots. Have fun and don’t die 😉

Ehm, you could have just built a cellar, and have your crop garden in there instead :)No water would freeze. Just keep it lit enough for growth.
If only I knew this sooner. Perhaps this is fixed in episode 4...
Diamonds are typically used as currency on multi-player servers, because they are relatively difficult to obtain in large quantities. But the only thing you actually *need* them for in the early game, is making an enchanting table. Diamond tools and weapons and armor, can be obtained in other ways. *Eventually* diamonds have another important use, but you are nowhere near ready to start setting off TNT underneath lava lakes, so that can just *wait* a while.
For now, you can just *not* fight endermen. (They only attack you, if you look at them. So don't.) When you eventually get to the point where you need ender pearls, there *are* ways to safely fight endermen, the most reliable of which is to exploit the fact that they are taller than you and cannot enter areas that are only two blocks high. It is also useful to know that they are afraid of water and won't stand in it or walk across it (though they *can* teleport past it). Boats and such are less reliable, because enderman movement is unpredictable and fast.
Gold armor is strictly inferior to iron armor, except for one thing: there's one type of creature in the game that will not respect you if you don't have any gold armor on. Gold weapons and tools are even more useless, although if you have a *lot* of them for some reason, it can be worth smelting them down into nuggets.
What use do diamonds get in the late game? Duplcating armour trims? Not sure if I'd classify that as an inportant use.
@@crowbar_the_rogue Not the aesthetic trims, no; but I think the templates for applying netherite to armor, should count as important. And in the late game, when resources are abundant and build projects start getting really large, you tend to want multiples of every piece of armor (and every tool and weapon), so you don't have to keep going to your experience farm to repair them constantly. Hence why I indicated that it's not important until you're ready to start setting off TNT under lava lakes, a reference to serious ancient debris mining.

To hunt endermen- put a fence around your house about 4 blocks away all around. Put up an overhang two blocks up, along one side- projecting two blocks and at least three blocks wide side to side. Light up inside your fenced area, so nothing else can spawn.
Now you’re ready to stay up late, standing under your roofed area. Stare at an enderman and it will teleport to the edge of your roof, but not be able to touch you. You can kill him at leisure.

Do yourself a huge favor and build a 1 deep hole that's 2x2 and fill it with water. It's and unlimited water source so you don't have to run back and forth. You can build those anywhere. I randomly have a few in each of my worlds for water transporting convenience
i use to make it inside some wall but 1x5 and coverso only centerblock is open and think i lock the water with a sign or if i use a halfslab, why having it on 5 block wide is to ensure i dont mess upp the infinity and adding one or two fishmakes it a nice aquarium if using glass, ofcourse do i use to ligt it up example with jack o lantern

You could build a green house so your water for your crops doesn't freeze just Google Minecraft green houses for inspo

If you haven't already figured it out, Lapis is used for enchanting.
Also, the gold helmet will help a LOT in the nether. The pigmen won't attack you if you are wearing anything made out of gold. Just remember to put it on before you go in. You can keep an armor stand next to the entrance and keep your gold hat on it. Make an anvil for repairing your gear. It can also be used for adding enchantments from books onto your gear. Zombie pigmen won't attack you unless you attack them first, then they will all come running to get you. Build a safe fortress in the nether before you do anything else.
So do zombie pigmen just not exist anymore? God it's been awhile
Endermen are simple, just stand under something 2 tall while you fight them.

to fight an enderman what i do is i create a root and then look at him in the eyes which is making him chase me but he cannot hit me cause endermen are 1 block higher than the player in the older version with no seal and spam click was easier
