    when i first started using henna, my hair was platinum. a neutral base. it turned out striking copper/orange. i loved it. with time, the tones are becoming deeper and it was a rich copper. i started adding hibiscus powder, aloe vera, amla and i’m going to add some more Ayurvedic herbs next time. my hair is now a deep deep copper, with hints of a lush garnet colour. everyone comments on the shine and how healthy my hair is. i will never go back to chemical salon dyes. henna and all ayurvedic treatments have really opened my eyes to mother nature’s wonders. amazing. thank you for your wisdom and videos. without your advice, i wouldn’t be so happy with my natural hair care journey. ❤

    Hello 😊! I am enjoying all of the information you provide to your viewers. Very helpful! I was wondering does conditioner have to be silicone free when doing a henna or other herbal hair gloss?

      It doesn't have to be, but Henna definitely sticks better to hair that doesn't have silicone build-up

    Ask HennaSooq Question: with Morrocan Henna having a faster die release time, does it also have a shorter lifespan? I’ve used light mountain natural henna in the past, I use Red Raj twice and absolutely loved the results and I’ve tried the Morrocan Henna twice and both times didn’t feel like I got a huge color pay out and then the results faded pretty quickly. Both times I did add Cassia and Amla powders (1tbsp each) to the Moroccan henna mixture and I’m wondering if maybe my measurements were off and I diluted the henna color too much or if that’s just something that I should expect with that particular henna color. I am in desperate need of more Red Raj, I hope to see it back in stock soon! ♥️♥️

    Question: When leaving henna treatments in your hair, does your hair porosity matter in waiting time between 2-4? I have high porosity hair and was wondering since it doesn't take long for products to penetrate my strands, can henna treatment be cut down in time to 2 hours vs 4 hours?
    Thanks!

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello. For a treatment 1-2 hours is okay. For coloring all hair is 3-5 hours. Unless you use heat or steam.

      @@HennaSooq Thank you, but have you actually tested to see high porosity hair can be dyed in 2 hours? Like the person who asked the original question said, would the dye take less time to penetrate hair that is high porosity?

    Question: Recently use Ref Raj Henna in my aunt's hair for the 1st time. The color came out okay but her roots were very orange. Any suggestion on how I can tone the orange down? I was considering using alma powder next time with Red Raj Henna. She wants to have the red tone in her hair but not so bright orange roots.

      I will answer this in an upcoming Ask Henna Sooq! But for a short answer, yes Amla is great for toning down henna 😊

    I used you henna kisses this weekend and for the first time I mixed it with coconut milk.. it didn’t give me the red tint it usually does. Do you think it had anything to do with the coconut milk? I have used them before but with aloe vera and I always have a red tint and I love that reddish tint.. just asking

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will answer this in full in an up-coming Ask Henna Sooq! The short answer is yes, the coconut milk can definitely dilute that tint
