Hey 👋 it does indeed work on the facelift! Quite a few of the GP3 have them installed which is the facelift version.

you could get these on aliexpress for quite some time. They also make them for loads of other cars.
Not the right hand drive version though, this one doesn't start shipping until March!

Hey 👋 I have had no issues at all, there is only about 1 inch on the back of the display so there is still plenty of room for the CarPlay unit.

It's too laggy. It's a novelty item personally you can get a scan gauge which does a much better job but if you like it you like it. 🤷♂️
