Question does the original Busa comes with only one fan? My boyfriend has a 2006 busa and its overheating. Please advice

We aren't sure weather to purchase the second fan or not.

Hi. As far as I know the gen 1 busa only comes with 1 fan. Also they dont have a bleed screw so getting all the air out of the system can be a real pain! You need to tilt the bike over and work the air locks out.
It's also worth checking the thermostat, fan trip switch, radiator cap and also the fan itself to make sure none of them are damaged or not working.
I've put another video up on how to test the fan motor. It's on the TH-cam channel, check ot out. Hope that helps.

Is that just a 12V Secondary fan?

Hi. Yes it is. Original fan off a 2008 gen 2. Wired in to the existing circuit

Sorry Sir, but this is a band-aid and it's just covering up a issue of overheating, NOT fixing it.
I'm a Engineer and Master Tech from 3 motorcycle manufacturers. Have someone diagnose the true problem and fix it.

Hiya thanks for commenting.. the issue was resolved. Overheating problem fixed and the bike ran a dream, just as it should. So the solution worked.

If it works and keeps the bike from overheating then it's a solution to a problem the engineers should have foreseen

@@marcovieira2032 It still overheats? Maybe your radiator is blocked or you have an air lock in the system. The old hayabusas have a really poor bleeding system, there's no bleed nipple on the cooling system so you have to manually bleed all the air out of it . That involves leaning the bike over almost until it's flat on its side. DELBOY from Delboys garage has done a video on changing coolant on the busa and bleeding the system, it's very good. Check also the radiator cap and thermostat if you haven't already.
