- Broccoli Casserole
1 pkg Broccoli prepared
1/2 cup mayo
1 onion chopped
1 egg
1 stick of butter melted
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 sleeve of Ritz crackers
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix 1st 7 ingredients together and pour in prepared pan. Top with crushed Ritz and bake for 1 hour.

I make something similar, called Chicken Divan. You add cooked chicken and also put some curry powder in the mayo and soup. Then you serve it over rice or egg noodles. Soooooooooooooooooo delicious!

Annette, We love broccoli casserole too, and the recipe I've always used calls for cream cheese and no egg, but this one sounds good, much easier and I will be trying it as well.

I’ve been home sick for two days. I was wanting stewed potatoes so I googled to refresh myself on how to make them. I found your stewed potatoes video and got hooked. Interesting that you said instead of soup, these potatoes are what you want when you are feeling bad. I made my potatoes and wound up watching you for several hours now. That looks delicious! Instead of using a zip lock bag to crush crackers just crush them in the pack their in. Don't open it just crush them you will be suprised how easy and fast it is
I also loved the way you put this video together with the candle lit in the background. I just made the recipe with broccoli out of our garden and it was delicious! Also, I have watched your videos for a long time. I didn't comment much but I just realized I wasn't subscribed. I am really sure I used to be subscribed and I didn't unsubscribe. I guess those things happen sometimes. I just resubscribed. I love couch time and especially the marital advice. I am in my mid thirty's and have been married for 15 years. We are active in our Church and get great teaching and encouragement there but you and Bryant are a blessing as well. I find myself gravitating towards channels like yours and whippoorwill holler etc. because I love learning about cooking, homemaking, and gardening. I am a stay at home homeschooling mom to two boys. My husband is self employed and I help with the office part. So I feel like I have things in common with you. I also love the encouragement and scripture teaching from y'all. I enjoy cooking homemade southern meals for my family. I don't mean for this to sound ugly. Sometimes when you type things it can be perceived wrong. But most ( not all) utubers my age are not showing real life home making. They are doing it for the money and cleaning there house from top to bottom and making it look like out of a magazine. Thats just not reality for me and a lived in house we are in everyday with two boys and a husband. So I watch relatable to me content that doesn't overwhelm me. I watch to learn life lessons from ladies who have been there and made it through things and offer Godly advise. I'm probably not like most thirty year olds I guess. But I think your videos like the snack box and mom and daughter day out will target that age. The videos of favorites you did with Caroline will probably too! Good luck to getting to 100,000 you will be there in no time I'm sure. You deserve it!
I take an even easier step and instead of bagged cheese I use a can of cheddar cheese soup. I also sauté some onions and celery in butter to add in.

Leslie, I make this exact casserole and add cubed chicken to it for a complete meal. I have also went a step further and added 2 cups of cooked rice to this with the chicken and an extra cup of cheese. The last version is my favorite. It is SO good.

To God Be The Glory you all so up lifting thank for the story you told about the lady in her driveway.Because a few week's when it began to get hot I found a elderly lady sitting in her car I went in the drug store i saw her still in the as I got in my car the spirit spoke to me to knock on her car and call out to her because I thought she were sleeping so she didn't move so I went i back in the store told them to call 911 she had a heat stroke and she went in a coma but these is a little long but God work another Miracle So Pray for me that I continue to hear his voice and be obedient

My family loves broccoli casserole. They all fight over the last in the dish. I also add rice and cheese whizz in mine. Makes it really cheesy. Thanks for another way to make it. This seems to be a bit quicker.

My daughter makes this casserole at her sons request but she adds chicken to it as well delish!
If you squeeze an unopened tube of Ritz crackers on each end, carefully but sternly, then kinda squeeze along the unopened tube carefully, the crackers will crush. I do hold them over my casserole should they break loose. Usually does fine.
Push both ends toward each other, toward the center.
I do that!

My friend use to make the rice broccoli one but she sautéed halibut in olive oil, butter and garlic and would mix that in yumm. Now I want some. God bless you both
This is the recipe for broccoli 🥦 casserole that I have used for 40 years. The only differences are the 🧀 cheese. I use Velvetta in a box. My son makes a 🥦 ,rice and 🧀 casserole. It is good too. Also I pour the melted butter on the crackers and stir. Then put on the top. Thanks for all the sharing you do.

Broccoli Casserole is pure comfort food. We have it every family gathering. Our version is so simple--just four ingredients:
2 packages (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli
8 Tbsp butter, divided
8 oz. Velveeta, cubed
1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Cook broccoli according to package directions.
3. Drain liquid from the broccoli and transfer to a greased 9×9-inch casserole dish.
4. Cut 4 Tbsp of butter in cubes.
5. Dot broccoli with cubed butter and cheese.
6. Melt remaining butter.
7. Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and cover broccoli mixture.
8. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

I make this, but spread the cheese over the broccoli mixture…bake then take out and spread Durkee’s onion rings over top and bake 2 to 3 minutes more. So good!

This is the one I remember so yummy! The one my family does all the time now probably cause it's easier, is put the broccoli in a buttered dish cover it with thick ( about 2 inch) slices of Velveeta cheese and then mix melted butter and crushed Ritz and top it, bake it and yum!!

My Granny Annie made a broccoli casserole pretty much like this except she used Pepperidge Farms stuffing as the topping and she boiled the egg instead of using it raw. I found this way of doing it with the crackers on top and the raw egg in it after she passed and it is DELICIOUS that way. I make this recipe all the time!!!! My Granny Annie would've loved the changes!!
