You know how cool it would be to find one of these today still in the crate!

Ditto! What a find that would be. I know of a number of NOS tractors from closed dealers and had a chance years ago to pick up a little Broadmoor Anniversary model and a 725 that had never been started, but at the time, the $$ was WAY out of my budget. Cheers! Zip~

When I was a kid about 10 I dreamed of having one of these and would beg Dad to take me by Moncrief's to just look at the one they had inside the dealership. They were just way too expensive for us. It would capture my attention just the same today as it did then.

I hope you will show us your machine after you have completed your work. perhaps you can explain the function of the control traction differential and how well it works for you as this is the first time I and I am sure a number of others have seen one of these on a garden tractor. In addition it would be great to see you utilize the lift mechanism with attachments.

Thanks So Much for Posting This!! I’m Restoring a 1965 Simplicity Landlord and Since the Tractors are Virtually Identical, This Has Given Me Very important Information About How To Set It Up!!

Didn't Roper manufacture these for AC? If so they may have been built at the McRae, GA plant south of Robins AFB.

      They were built by simplicity

@@JandLVideos I got confused. Sears tractors were built by Roper. Simplicity and Allis Chalmers were a different bunch. But both excellent tractors.
