I've never actually been on our tram system and if this is the result of doing so, I probably never will.

I think people that transfer money to anyone without triple checking if the receiver is legit don't value money at all. I've never even transfered £10 without being 100% sure about what I'm doing. 150k being sent to scammers means you just don't care enough. Sorry to sound unsympathetic but we need to make people be more vigilant. That's the biggest deterrent for scammers

Just because a famous or well known person is used in the marketing, does not make it a legitimate product or service.
Do your due diligence. Be an adult.

Exactly! The only time or reason I'd part with any funds at all is when I want something from a legitimate shop or service provider and in that situation I approach THEM.
Adverts attempting to fish new customers are absolutely wasted on me, regardless what the product or service might be.
I remember receiving regular calls from (and this is verbatim) 'The Talk Talk' trying to convince me to give remote access to my computer. It was laughable. I don't understand how anyone could be taken in by this kind of nonsense. Are folks really this naive?

That cyber security CEO funded by our tax paying money does not answer the question Martin puts to her - she waffles on - what is it with people that tax payers are paying their salaries, are they not able to answer questions put to them!?
That CEO is an example of what Chat GPT will look like (if it already isn’t the case) she’s been programmed to say one message in many ways and not answer any real thought provoking questions (the programming will not allow it).
