Another amazing video from Cyprus's finest rider. Judging by the "blurred" effect (especially the sides), you were using an ND filter on the GoPro (not sure what strength). Although it gives the viewer a great sense of speed, I think it can get a little tiring to watch after a while. Have you tried a weaker ND filter to see the effect of a slightly faster shutter speed?
Thanks for the kind words! 🙏 Correct! I was using an ND 16 filter at 1/48 shutter speed. I do agree with you that it might get a little tiring after a while which is probably the reason i don’t use it that often.. To be honest, I’ve only tried the nd filters on super sunny blown out days so i usually tend to go with nd16. I might give the nd8 a try next time though and see if it’s any better. Personally, im really happy with the results of my go-to settings at 24fps. You still have that motion blur and the stabilisation of the hero 11 is phenomenal! 👌
Yes! On the GoPro Hero 11 Black. I usually use the hyperview feature, but since i was using an ND filter on this video, i had to set the stabilisation to “boost” which crops the image just a tiny bit.
