The best thing for me about the bolt pistol is the fact it has a bleed blessing
So now we can literally make our enemies bleed from a safe distance

The bolters, while mainly the weapon of Astartes, does have human safe variants. Selectively given out they're smaller both in size and caliber compared to the Astartes version
Rip and tear for the Emperor, Brother Sol
slightly buffed the boltgun too. Check it out. More ammo, explodey bullets that actually explode, and less recoil per shot with better sights.

The singel target damage is bonkers but its akward to use against hordes, how do you with hordes of trash?
ps. Put the "Thrust" and "Limbsplitter" + 25% Unyielding damage on it for banishing anything large and/or monstrous that DARES challenge the Emprahs biggest and strongest into the warp.

Obviously its for the funny memes on a dedicated ogryn melee build.
Limbsplitter can be pretty useful on a range focused veteran build that sometimes needs to deal with a mutant or some heavy armour.
A full range build veteran with a thrust+limbsplitter MK7 shovel can one shot a mutant (and any other human sized enemy) and leaves a crusher with 1/5 of its hp.
I always play auric (usually random) and I regularly bring my krieger build with hellbore and shovel.
Dont get stuck in meta-slave builds, experiment, have some fun ;)
@@Tyrgalon I have 2.3k hours lmao my oggy is level 1233, my vet is 732, zealot is 800, and pysker is 500 💀 but I do literally have everything from meta to not meta. Limbsplitter is just big ass and very niche it can be okay at best. Tier 4 thrust with decent weapon modifier and I’ll do enough bro.

Double barrel + smokes works fairly well with veteran, really brings the smoke's utility in the spotlight

if only it wasn WH fantasy lore... A lot of people play this for the 40k lore. They shouldve copy and pasted that games chapter playstyle so we would end up with much more maps but oh well im sure they will make more. I just come back when new stuff comes

Cons- its a wiki simulator, they kick you off a cliff and expect you too build a helicopter.

honestly the new shotgun is crazy, it one shot special units + if u play zeloot u dont realy need that range u go in u swap to shiotgun u nukes the enemy u swap back and u keep on spaming close range combat ..... i dont get it why some people are so triggered about it

Darktide is really good right now with massive potential to become even better
They need to buff the bolt pistol but I love that they finally added it to the game. The bolt pistol should be a 1 hit kill on all trash mobs, and should be a 1-2 hit kill on any unarmored elite enemies especially with a headshot. I dont care if they drop the spare ammo count, this gun does not feel like a bolt pistol should right now.

You are, the 40K wibes are incredible and the melee combat is very satisfying unlike most other co-op squad focused games.

Man i love this bolter pistol, its very hard to choose between that and the agripp revolver, i like having long range on my zealot, bolt pistol is so much more usable with its speed.
I'm creating a CQC build for my veteran, this shotgun is exactly what I needed. I don't really like long-range combat, as I prefer to protect my allies, so a weapon that simply shatters the enemy is what I prefer lol And I also love shotguns of this type

My theory is that a lot of fatshark is focusing on the vermintide 2 VS. update. Hopefully we'll get a bit more maps and weapons now that we're a couple years in and they aren't fixing infrastructure, and once they launch and polish vs.

I have never played this game. I prefer the more fantasy of Vermentide 2 so I never bothered getting Darktide

My only question is where the 3 marks are idk if they were meaning the 3 pickaxe marks and or the 2 shock maul marks because they said they was 4 new weapons and 3 new marks
Marks are different variants of the same weapons. Melee variants have different swings, guns shoot differently from each other
I definitely need to put more hours into the game. Got super sidetracked with other games for a little while.
These things are cool and its nice to see new things, but damn did it come too little too late. After considering the state of the game, i dont think it suddenly 'became bad', i just became good and beat it, so no sense it playing the gambling simulator of weapon rolling hell
Double barrel does have good range though. I was getting one shots at surprising ranges. But like it’s a shotgun it’s not supposed to be able to snipe lmao. You want that use the shotgun with the slug shots

Thing that bothers me about the bolt weapons is again the magnum exist. Its just better overall. The boltgun does have the mag dump going for it, tho

Dumb asf it’s still good I use it regularly,power cycler was fun as hell but it needed that nerf it was the best melee weapon in the game

Where's my volley gun? My Ryza pattern hellgun with the backpack? Oh. Nowhere. Where's the plasma pistol? Where's the _longlas?_ There are longlas in missions, sitting on fucking tables, and we can't have them...why? Where's the _melta gun?_ Its a 40k game. These are iconic weapons. Where are they? Moreover, why did it take *_TWO YEARS_* for us to get four new weapons?
Can I actually make weapons without risking them getting bricked? Oh, maybe not even until October. Why bother trying out the new weapons if its just going to waste my resources that I saved up specifically for the actual part of the Machine God DLC? Should I even try? Not really seeing a good reason.
Wouldn't call it the best, it's still the OG L4D and Deep Rock Galactic, Darktide is fun though, but obviously still feels lacking

Pickaxe fits ogryns since they are often used as heavy duty labourers, but I wouldn´t mind the other weapons you mentioned as well.

Doesnt matter really if its the best or not (I would also argue Deep Rock Galactic is better at horde stuff) the Studio behind it made me quit the game and any future game they make wont be bought or played.
