Your videos are very interesting and show the sights of beautiful US cities. What I miss is the general view of the place. I should like to see a little of the streets and houses of the city shown in order to have an idea how it looks like and to decide which is the best place to live. Thank you!
For its size Lexington is a very clean city. It's a mid size city but very cramped. Not a lot to do there but a great city to live in and raise a family.
There is plenty to do, if you know where to look. also plenty within 2 hrs drive . learn to enjoy golfing?? we have no less than 11 golf courses.. More parks per person than any other similar sized town . Just what sort of "things to do" are ya wanting?
Interesting to see a nonnative's take on Lexington! I concur with other pronunciation corrections in the comments (Rupp rhymes with up and that last 'e' in Keeneland is silent), but honestly, to me that just shows you're a relatively unbiased third party. I will say, I absolutely wouldn't count the Ark Park as being in or really even near Lexington. That's not to say it's not far too close for comfort, but it's still a good hour away, and Ham really doesn't need encouraged. He got massive tax breaks from the state for that thing, saying it would boost the economy in the immediate area, which it has completely failed to do. He also runs the Creation Museum, which is devoted to young earth creationism. That said, other landmarks that are a bit out of town but closer include Castle Post in Versailles (ver as I versus and sails like a boat, I know it's ridiculous), or, a bit further, Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort.
Your pronunciation of Rupp Arena is incorrect. You said "RUpp" (empathize the "U") . It should be "Rupp" with a silent "u", Named after Adoph Rupp famous basketball coach.
@@romigithepope so you don’t like Lexington because of the people you knew mostly. That’s too bad. I guess if you don’t like basketball then I can see how cats fans could get annoying. We don’t have hurricanes here so… no I guess people don’t get too worked up over them in general. The biggest plus about places like Kentucky and Wyoming is peoples willingness to help strangers in need. I’ve had people pull over when I was broke down and work for hours fixing my car for me in a snow storm. I’m sure you are right about Lexington having some stuck up rich people that suck. If your idea of hell on earth is basketball fans, Lexington would be right up there. Thanks for the reply. Go Cats.
Thank you for this video, I am planning to immigrate to this city very soon as a nurse.
Looks like you’ve had some time off!

I haven't been to Jacobson Park since the 90's. It is beautiful.
Great job on your video. Interesting, informative and well presented!
Thank you!
It’s not pronounced Roop Arena it’s Rupp like Pup.
Keeneland is Keen-lund, not Keen-a-land. And someone also noted for Rupp; it’s not Rupe arena, but R-up arena
Who cares😂
Oh… and it’s not Keen-uh-Lind it’s Keen-Land
Kentucky Is A Beautiful Place. 💯

Hell on earth.

Why do you say that? Lol. I would say NYC is hell on earth. I live near Lex. I been all over the US. Only place I’ve liked as well is Wyoming.
