Hey everyone! Quick disclaimer. I wanted to keep all the headphones under $100 USD retail price. I also have the Soundcore Space Q45 and Edifier WH-700NB in my spreadsheet. I just wanted to focus on one headphone for each brand. Enjoy the video!
Do you notice a difference with LDAC?
Brother what's better in music and bass q45 or what or space one
Great work👍🏻 You don’t waste a word in delivering all of the important info. Thanks!
Thanks that's the aim!
Wow, so much detail. Thank you for your hard work, the videos are great
Cheers Darius!
Love the spreadsheet it is super informative! Great work as always!
Glad you like it!
The video ive been waiting for, thanks Picky !
No worries Rhadaar!
I really appreciate the details you put into this! Especially the decibels! I have the Tozo HT2s and I'm satisfied with them. I have some hearing loss & they get plenty loud for me. I also like that they will switch to Transparency when on a call so I can hear myself.
Great video mate!
Cheers David! They are solid. Interesting that doesn't happen with my pair. Are you on firmware 7.1.3?
Did you lose sound on the right ear cup when on a call using transparency mode on the Tozo's??
Happens to mine but no issue using other modes or playing music.
Thank you for another awesome review and comparison, Picky! 👍
Thanks my man!
Awesome video PICKY Thank you for everything you do!!
Thanks DES!
@@pickyaudioyes sir
Perfect work,thank you.
Thanks for checking out the video!
Great video bro
helpful vid. Along with watching a lot of other reviews I landed on the Earfun Wave Pro as I wanted cheap backup pair of headphones. I currently own the Bose QC Ultra as my main, Soundcore Q45 as my former backup, and now the Earfun. I did try the 1more years ago but connectivity issues was the main problem for me especially multipoint. So far the Earfuns have been great and the EQ is what is working for me. Still an Anker and Soundcore fan so will also use my Q45 but hope they slim down the earcup bulkiness.
Thanks! Solid collection you got. How does the sound of the Wave Pro compare to the QC Ultra?
Thank you for making this video! I briefly considered making a channel to do headphone comparisons and reviews. With you, Flossy Carter, Tech Moe, El Jefe, DHRME, Sean Talks Tech, and others I said forget it! You are extremely thorough and I love your spreadsheet. I actually did the same for best under $30.00 with similar categories. I own five of the pairs you have on your under $100.00 and enjoy them all.
Thanks I'm glad you like the spreadsheet! Hey if you really want to make a channel though go for it
@@pickyaudioYou are welcome! I'm going to leave tech reviews to you guys! 😄. I am working on creating content for an art (Drawing instruction) channel. I'm much better at that!
Just got the qcy for £20 pounds in the Ali express sale and pretty impressed great video thanks 👍
Great review as ussual, between the W820nb plus and the wh 700NB both from edifier, wich one you will choose ? I liked most for airplane travel cabin noise, thanks in advance ....
Thanks for posting this video.
You're welcome!
You did you recently saw Machine Head live. Did you go to their showing at Pittsburg on February First at Roxanne Theater because that was where I saw them recently and got a Of Kingdom and Crown LP. Also I got the OnePlus buds 3 off of your recommendations. Love the work keep it up.
What the Sonoflow lacks in features makes up for it in SOUND. Man, with the correct EQ settings, they SOUND EXPENSIVE. In terms of sound, they can go toe-to-toe with Edifier and Sony’s flagships. Yes, I said it. And I tested a lot of headphones when I was active in the audiophile hobby (not so much now). Pull down the bass, keep most of the mids as is, and you can be aggressive with the treble (they’re pretty recessed) and have hi-res Bluetooth headphones that punch above their price point. I totally agree with you. The reason why I picked them. Also, it has a really nice carrying case and gunmetal finish. Absolute bang for your back. By the way, did I forget to mention that this comparison is fantastic? Good stuff, man! Cheers!
Soundcore Space One also got my attention, especially with what the app offers, but I'll probably still go with 1More Sonoflow since they are almost half the price in my country for some reason. Thanks for the video
No worries! Yep 1More Sono are just solid
Do you notice a difference with LDAC? I got the ht2's and it's missing
It's a bit off topic but I was curious if you know what earbuds Russell Crow was wearing about three minutes into Land of Bad
Oh boy, I'm excited, can't wait to see who's on top
Trying for a week to decide wich headphone to get under 100$
Ahhhhh im going crazy too over the amount of research i did T-T i might go for galaxy buds fe idk one plus buds 3 is 40$ more expensive here
Hey, always enjoyed your videos, like your concept, maybe integrade more hashword analysis so u can gain more views
Thank you 🙏
With the Tozo's - in my experience when on a phone call, in transparency mode, there's sound only from the left ear cup but doesn't happen in any other modes or playing music!! 😠
Do you have the same issue with yours??
Very sad with my recently sonoflow. Sound well but mi mpow59 that I have 4 year sounds similar... I think tah 1more returned.
Too much hype for these headphones. Anyone recommended a good custom eq before returned the 1more to give 1 more chance?
Due I love your shirt. Machine Head is one of my favorite bands. Their Hallowed Be thy Name cover is my one of my favorite songs.
Sick cover! I recently saw them live and got this shirt. 🤘
@@pickyaudio Where did you see them. I went to see them in Pittsburgh on February 1st.
I am also getting the OnePlus buds 3 off your recommendations.
Hey picky, nice video as usual.. i was thinking, Would you say that on a 100 dollar earbud (bought the one plus 3) apple music or tidal would sound better than Spotify? Im on iOs btw, and switched to apple music but in a few ways i miss Spotify
Since IOS only uses AAC and don't take advatnage of high res codecs there is very little difference even comparing them to spotify. I just use spotify because I prefer the app
@@pickyaudio thank you!
loved it
Thanks!
Could you rank score 1more sonoflow and Sony xm5 in terms of anc and sound quality
Damn you had! Spending money again. 😉👍
When will soundcore release their new headphones (if any)?
Great effort
Thanks a lot!
Which one would you recommend for good sound quality and gym galaxy buds fe or 1+ buds 3. Thanks.
Either pair is great for that! It really depends what pair fits you better which will most likely be the FE
Sir, Oneplus Buds 3 vs Oppo Enco air 3 pro. There is about 15 dollars difference in both. I want the best ANC under 100 dollars
Hey can you advise a good sounding tws under 30 dollars.i don't care about microphone but I do want a premium sounding earbuds.
Moondrop space travel
Wow, what an awesome review! It's absolutely bonkers that I snagged the Soundcore Space One for just $68! Talk about a stellar deal!
Cheers! Solid deal
I have one question and four suggestions.
Question : You say 1More Sonoflow can do max 95.8db yet Amir from audiosciencereview measured one with bluetooth connection up to 113 db, this is massive 17db difference! You said in previous video that you just put SPL meter in the earcup. You measure max volume without creating seal with flat plate coupler or head simulator like DSP Ears or G.R.A.S Kemar?
Suggestion 1: One big thing I care about that you dont do is distortion measurements. I would like if you made distortion vs frequency graph or even better, multiple graphs at different volume levels like 85, 95, 105db for example. To make it even better you could show the level of individual harmonics ie second order, third order etc.
Suggestion 2: Give us waterfall plots, ringing caused by resonances can seriously decrease sound quality and while frequency response and phase response are interlinked, its much better visible in waterfall plots than in frequency response plots, especially after smoothing is applied.
Suggestion 3: Buy in ear, inside pinna measurements microphones like MS-TFB-2-MKII from Sound Professionals for example. They cost like 250$ and give the most accurate measurements. Even 25k$ G.R.A.S Kemar head simulator cannot defeat real human head!
Suggestion 4: Always mention and show if and how much angled are the drivers. I much prefer sound of headphones with angled drivers.
Yea that's right it's not an accurate measurement of true dB but is even across all pairs. I'm still pretty new to reviewing headphones so I appreciate the suggestions
Hey this a great vid my man but i ffeel like sony and jbl also deserve their spot in this list ig😅
For sure I just don’t have any of their headphones just yet
What about sony wh-ch720n
Nice tee 👌
Thanks 💯
did i go with soundpeats space or sonoflow?
Sonoflow
please test melomania m100
Nice work my friend thank you. There's something about the design of the Soundcore Space One that I don't like. Not sure exactly what it is since I don't have them but that's just me. 💯👍🇺🇸
Cheers Mike! Yea fair enough they are pretty unique looking
I'm surprised that the Soundcore Space One got an 8 for Sound Quality. I found that they have an extremely weird tuning where the included EQ couldn't save them and the sound is always unnatural and cold. That's a great shame because their Liberty 4 NC earbuds punch well above their price with their sound and the rest of the Space One package is outstanding.
Yeah, this is nuts. The Space Ones sound awful. Soundcores older models sound way better.
Interesting because I sent the Q45s back because their vocal tuning was awful! But the Q30s sound great. So it lines up with your point. And I just got the new P40i earbuds and they sound great!
@@philipm.4738 The Q30s are still the best. I wish they had better ANC but the sound is what still keeps it in my rotation.
Yea they are tough to EQ but I still enjoy them. They're quite bass boosted which isn't for everyone
@@pickyaudio Yes. I love the bass on Soundcore products once it's tempered a bit. It was the midrange that was the problem on the Q45s. Wondered if I had a defective product but others have mentioned similar issues. But I've loved almost every set of earbuds I've gotten from them. ( Currently sitting at 6 models)
Respectfully I think you need to be way harsher about build quality. The Space One squeaks like crazy and is made of extremely cheap plastics. 8+ should be reserved for metal builds
This is relative to headphones under $100
Which headphones with the most bass you've ever tried
Skullcandy crusher, I tried them in store once
Where is oneodio??
The blackening - the last decemt MH album
They’re best for sure! Unto the locust a close second for me, I do like they’re newer stuff
@@pickyaudio c'mon my man, burn my eyes. Genre defining classic
At 6:57 you said 5 band when it’s clearly a 10 band eq
Well hellow there....
👋👋
@@pickyaudio Also there's no Sony 720N ?
@@lavatr8322they’re 130$
If you can't afford the soundcore space one or 1more sonoflow just get earbuds. Headphones below $100 are not that good
I bought Soundpeats space after watching this video. What a disappointment. It's all bass and nothing else. Custom EQ can't save it, because by lowering bass you also lower the overall sound quality. I'm gonna return it.
Sorry that did not meet your expectation. But it depends
Why is evergone acting i do not trust anyone who plugs soundcore as peak. Their products have terribke durability, it just shows you sidnt use them long enough to see the issues
Since when? Everytime a friend with air pods pros 2 listen to my earbuds from soundcore they say "these sound amazing, how much were they?" And I go "100" and they go "no way"
@dragonheart2403 I've had 2 desperate pairs of sound core headphones, both around 100ish and they both broke after only a few months kf use with minimal wear and tear. And sounded not much better than other headphones I had in the same price range.
Their sound quality i ididnt mind for the price, but their durability is ridiculously bad. The first ones I had shattered from a single drop onto a wooden floor. And the second ones had the plastic cracking from just leaning my head against stuff, less than a month after I bought then the cracking got so bad they fell apart in my hands.
Their build quality is terrible.
@@ms.antithesis dang that sucks
So you base your opinion on two pairs of headphones.
I have several pairs that work pretty much Aswell as the day I bought them. Maybe the battery has gotten a bit weaker on the older ones but that is to be expected tbh. Also changed earpads in one pair, but I had been Waring them daily for almost two years at that point.
@davidmerander576 extended use with 2 pairs of headphones, both of which lasted far less time than any other brand of headphones I used, and both of which where being hailed by reviewers a the best on the market. Is far more than most of these reviewers who use the headphones for 10 minutes and just agree with what every other reviewer is saying do.
