Oofer Eli all my thoughts. I knew she was gonna land a spot in the finals. My thought was this. It was gonna be fox vs flamingo. Now don’t get me wrong, wayne is a cool dude, got some serious vocals though, however, in my head, flamingo, that would be Adrienne, was the one to be called the winner. That night, we would all come back to either this video, or the video of where she got asked the question of if she was the flamingo or not, and we all would’ve said, the one who hated her voice, is now a champion! I couldn’t wait til the episode on the real where one of the hosts said something like, maybe, “you maybe wondering why there’s an empty chair here. Well, we got a little surprise for you, and she’s walking in here as we speak!” Then probably Lonnie, “here she is, the winner of the mask singer, the flamingo, AKA, our little munchkin, Adrienne!” We all would have been gloating, and celebrating with her. Seriously though, who she thought she fooled? Not her supporters that’s what!

Maybe it will happen someday. It took Tamar over 10 years to produce a solo album after she was able to find her love for singing after her first solo album didn't do so well. I think Tamar is right, Adrienne isn't ready. When Adrienne is able to look past the fear of flopping, and falls in love with singing and feels that magic one gets when singing then she will be able to sing. I know that I'll be buying Adriennes record when it comes out.
This is the type of panel I love seeing. No side eye stank eye, no talking over each other, and no shade. Women supporting each other and speaking from the heart. Adrienne just broke my heart with this. You could see the anxiety in her eyes when they pressed her for more reasons. It’s sad that anxiety and fear get in our way. Wanting others approval is one of the most secret killers of goals.
Tamera is just so genuinely nice and I can hear the realness when she speaks. She seems to be the kind of woman young girls should look up to and emulate.

It's so very sad to hear that Adrianne is afraid of people not liking the sound of her voice because she dislikes it. I've watched Adrianne's movies and TV shows all the time as a kid. I loved the Cheetah Girls, 3LW, That's So Raven and All You've Got. When one of the judges (I believe it was Jenny) guessed that the Pink Flamingo was Adrianne Bailon for the first time, it immediately clicked in my head and I knew that it was her 100%. I couldn't wait to hear her sing every Wednesday night, I was so happy she was doing something with her singing talent again. I really hope the Pink Flamingo really gave her confidence to go for it. Make a solo album cause you bet I'll be the first in line to buy it!
When Tamera said "what if..." am I the only one who went back to the Cheetah Girl days for a minute? In the last movie Adrienne sang a song called What If by herself and it really relates to this situation. "It's breaking my heart, tearing me apart, it's impossible to choose what if I don't try, what if I do? Everything that I dreamed right in front of me if I win what would I lose? How can I learn to live wondering what if?" In the movie she was talking about taking a role in a film without the other girls but if you hear the song, it really goes hand in hand with this singing situation.
Mmmmm, truth! I wish more artist would be like this and so can SOCIETY! I'm so tired of the "flop" term being passed around and thrown at people. We are supposed to live our DREAMS! That means we do what we love because we LOVE IT! That's it. Whatever comes with it, is just icing on the cake. So before people start to label these artist flops, realize they are being brave enough to chase after their dreams and to continue pushing and living in what they love. That's not a flop. Some will get it, some won't. Popularity NEVER dictated or decided greatness, but in today's age, people have led themselves to believe it. i totally agree, i don't like terms like flop, irrelevant, has-been because it's putting way too much importance on being mainstream. there are so many talented people out there who are not mainstream or don't get regular radio play or whatever, but some of them are more "relevant" to me than people on the radio.

I don't think it's impossible to find a recording studio who appreciates a mature singing voice like Adrienne's. Teresa Silva Wendy's been on since 2009 this is their, The Real's, first official season. Wendy's contract was extended through 2018 or so they are still getting the word spread about the show across America. Cant compare a veteran show to a rookie show.... the dynamics are completely different.

I think it's deeper than Adrienne lets on, I mean this is national television of course she's going to answer the question but she won't really open up because this isn't the right setting for her and it's so sudden but it's clear that it's not so much she's afraid to fail she might be afraid of criticism over something she wants to do for fun and not for topping charts, critics are harsh and the internet itself is its own critic I doubt she wants to log onto social media or whatever and see headline "Bailon's first album FLOPS" and then sure enough everyone's hateful comment be loud and present, she doesn't want any of that people are cruel, people are more critical over singers than any other career, actors hardly get compared to other actors but singers... At least when there was a 3LW, there was no social media. R&B was her groove, she said here. I remember the late 90’s being a golden period for R&B. R&B had come back strong. She, Kiely, and Naturi came in at the last leg of the 90’s I believe. It was just a whole other feeling back then. I don’t feel it now. Not at all. The music today is kind of fun to listen to sometimes but, the overall quality of talent is way under par minus a few, of course.

I felt the same way when I was in college, people convinced me to go into computer science and that wasn't where my heart was. I wanted to be a social worker. People frowned at my decision, but it was the best decision of my life to go after MY dreams. Because at the end of the day I refuse to be in a workplace that is satisfying others but is mentally and physically draining me.

I've watched Adrianne's movies and TV shows all the time as a kid. I loved the Cheetah Girls, 3LW, That's So Raven and All You've Got.
When one of the judges (I believe it was Jenny) guessed that the Pink Flamingo was Adrianne Bailon for the first time, it immediately clicked in my head and I knew that it was her 100%. I couldn't wait to hear her sing every Wednesday night, I was so happy she was doing something with her singing talent again.

***** If she lost herself as a Cheetah Girl, she definitely did not lose herself as a singer for sure. A voice like Adrienne's is a natural voice; a voice you are born with. I don't think it's impossible to find a recording studio who appreciates a mature singing voice like Adrienne's. On the contrary, recording companies would grab her immediately knowing that she already has that experience. And with that she could develop her voice in a different way.
I think what she is trying to say is that she doesn't like is that music is all about the industry & business nowadays and not about passion. In my opinion, there are amazing artists out there but mostly people watch crap.

I think it's deeper than Adrienne lets on, I mean this is national television of course she's going to answer the question but she won't really open up because this isn't the right setting for her and it's so sudden but it's clear that it's not so much she's afraid to fail she might be afraid of criticism over something she wants to do for fun and not for topping charts, critics are harsh and the internet itself is its own critic I doubt she wants to log onto social media or whatever and see headline "Bailon's first album FLOPS" and then sure enough everyone's hateful comment be loud and present, she doesn't want any of that people are cruel, people are more critical over singers than any other career, actors hardly get compared to other actors but singers... OH SHE'S NO MARIAH, NO BEYONCE, NO WHITNEY, CAN'T HOLD A CANDLE TO CELINE. etc. etc. Adrienne is soft I get her, I can read within the lines

At least when there was a 3LW, there was no social media. R&B was her groove, she said here. I remember the late 90’s being a golden period for R&B. R&B had come back strong. She, Kiely, and Naturi came in at the last leg of the 90’s I believe. It was just a whole other feeling back then. I don’t feel it now. Not at all. The music today is kind of fun to listen to sometimes but, the overall quality of talent is way under par minus a few, of course.

You can't frame your life on what people will think about your career, you have to love your career and be a go getter for yourself . I felt the same way when I was in college, people convinced me to go into computer science and that wasn't where my heart was. I wanted to be a social worker. People frowned at my decision, but it was the best decision of my life to go after MY dreams. Because at the end of the day I refuse to be in a workplace that is satisfying others but is mentally and physically draining me.

THEY FINALLY asked Adrienne why she doesn't sing. I kept thinking why is this girl playing herself to the left every time there's an opportunity to sing. Her voice is amazing. I was a HUGE Cheetah girl fan LOL. Very sad to hear she doesn't think she's good enough. I do understand though. We all got problems chileeee
Tamar made an excellent point. It's lot bout what others think or your artistry, you should simply do it because you want to, and you love it. Granted it's about money- at the end of the day, but you have to love it first.
I haaaate that her being fired (whether Tamar thinks it was Loni or not) allowed that to come between her Tamera and Adrienne, I loved their interactions on the show and from the clips I've been binge watching (whoops hehe) I feel like Tamar kind of, maybe, sort of looked at Adrienne as a little latina sister and they both are singers. I noticed recently she's followed her back on insta so I'm hopinggggg that means Tamar is slowly going to start rebuilding the friendships with ATLEAST those two ladies.
I hope so too,I believe Tamera and Adrienne (more than anyone else) has always been there for Tamar,it kinda sucked that Tamar wasn’t at Adrienne’s wedding
