Hi, thanks for your video, I just got the explorer 3 for my birthday. I can't wait to use it. All the videos are great but overwhelming. I want to make a rolled flower, I put in a 8.5x11 paper and my cricut went crazy. I guess I have to use a mat to get all the way to the paper grip, is that right? thank you

Received my first ever Cricut for Christmas yesterday. All set up, printed my test sample, good to go. I have 1 roll of Blue Smart Vinyl (13 in x 3 ft). What's next?? Where can I go to try some simple, easy, beginner projects? I'm very excited, but a little overwhelmed.

Hello good afternoon I got this cricut explore 3 for my birthday today and I would like to know if this machine cuts the fabric without using the heat bound?
I don't know which one to buy😳.I like all the bells and whistles on the Maker 3 but do I reeeeally need it🤔. I mostly want design my own t-shirts and wall decals. Is there any way to see what sewing patterns are available???

Can I cut a stencil from a 10 mil sheet of Mylar? I tried but it’s not cutting through, am I using the wrong setting or is there a deeper blade? Thanks for your info!

Glad I could help! I actually inquired about this recently with Cricut. They told me that they reformulated their smart vinyl so it's now easier to weed from the thicker backing.

Hello I just bought a new cricut explore 3. And I purchased cricut premium vinyl resplendissant paper yesterday at my local Walmart store. I'm confused how exactly this vinyl paper works?
Hi dear, im receiving my new explore 3, but its my first ever, i don't have any cricut mat, i will be purchasing vinyl papers from my local store, just the standard ones that others use, i was wondering if i will get difficulties to use it? Or i have to only use the ones i purchase from cricut company. Also if i don't have the cricut mat, can i use any other mat to do it?

I have been making greeting cards for years now, when I saw thus machine, I looked into it but have only seen tutorials of vinyls or iron-one. Does this machine not do anything related to greeting cards?

The Cricut Explore machines can only cut fabric if it is bonded. That means you'll need to apply a layer of fusible stabilizer to the back of the fabric in order to cut it out.

Question I just bought this today but I didn’t buy the smart vinyl I bought the reg vinyl. I watched videos and everyone said I didn’t need a Matt- do I need a Matt with the regular vinyls that are not the “smart vinyl”
You need a Matt with regular vinyl. Smart vinyl can be cut without the Matt.

I have a question, I had bought 12x12 iron on paper thinking it would be able to fit on the Explore 3. I know she said that you can use smaller paper than the 13x12 that the machine takes, but how? Do I need a mat? If I do, will 12x12 mat be good because that is all that is in stores but I don't want to waste money. I have already tried changing the settings in design space and that did not work. Please help!
You will need a mat for any material smaller than the smart vynil.

How can you make labels with 3 colors in your logo?
That roll holder looks like it wastes a bunch of vinyl after each cut. Is there a way to move your project to a mat/table and then cut it off? Or am I missing something?
I think she said that you cut it right below where your cutting is gone so you don’t waste material.

Can you do sublimation with explorer 3 😊
Sublimation, requires different machines, sublimation paper and a sublimation printer and sublimation ink. Depending on what you are trying to sublimate you might need a tumbler press, oven etc.
I had a Cricut explore 2. I want to buy the Explore 3 but wonder if I need to buy a new mat. The Explore 2 uses a 12"x12 or 12 x 24 mat. The Explore 3 cuts 13" wide. Is there a new mat size for it?
no the old mats work just the same with the explore 3 and maker 3

what is the difference between Smart Vinyl Permanent and Smart Vinyl Removable?
Removable is good for windows and walls decals. Permanent has a strong adhesive and makes it harder to remove better for objects it will stay on and leaves a sticky mess when removed
not much difference with it but the speed. not all vinyl are big roles some on etsy and other websites you can buy vinyl per-cut to any size.

Without a mat u can only use the smart material any other u must use mat
