    Thank you Ian for the range test. I don't know really what to say to it lol. It's quite as I thought.

    • @Speedyfeetuk
      @Speedyfeetuk  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ovie, lol. Well to be honest I really thought it was only going to do 10 miles, so pleasantly surprised it was just over 12 (actually had a horrible thought it was only going to be 8!)

    • @wheeldood6130
      @wheeldood6130 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is probably going to be the case after 15 to 20 times charging.

    • @Speedyfeetuk
      @Speedyfeetuk  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ovie, you would typically see the range increase slightly after several charges - I was actually contemplating holding off the distance test due to this. but decided to do it out of the box (it had just had a top up charge from new). Prob get 0.5 miles more after a few cycles and the cells stretch their muscles a little and bed in.

    • @wheeldood6130
      @wheeldood6130 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you are right Ian. It will probably increase a little but on the long run All Ninebots have one thing in common: Excellent Robust and stable Wheels but low range. 18 - 21 miles should be at least possible even 16 miles is still acceptable but 12 miles is not good for the price. That is just my personal opinion. The Ninebot is really a cool wheel. Whatever I tried it just does the job until I want to do a little longer journey. That's when Ninebot comes fast to it's limits. But I am sure they are working on it. The S2 could have been made with cushions, Little larger footplates and put slightly larger batteries into it. But all in all I would say the S2 is a really good and well made wheel. Practically you get less wheel with almost same range and a little bit more speed for a price of a Ninebot One E+. Still no front and rear lights. Sorry for sounding so critical here. I love Ninebot Products.

    You could probably stick some Gotway ACM leg pads on this for better control ??

    Can you please advise if the original "friction padding" on the A1, which I guess exactly similar to the one on the S2 looking at the video, can be replaced when it wears down over time....or would it be necessary to replace the entire foot plate...? =) Thanks.

      Hmmm, good question, no parts list available at the moment, its looks like he top section can be replaced MAYBE.

    Great video, thanks for showing the offroad capabilities, Still, I like my E+ better. Do you think Gotway is better?

    • @Speedyfeetuk
      @Speedyfeetuk  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Steven. Gotway, whats that? Ha ha :) Seriously though, we sell Ninebot only as I think they are top of the tree in terms of design, functionality and build quality. They are always evolving and improving..leading the way as it were. We could sell Gotway....but just simple choose to specialise in Ninebot and give a customer experience thats the best possible by having that sole focus. I believe we can be more honest this way. I have no problems showing what the Ninebot can and cannot do, so the end user can choose the right wheel for them.

    Thanks for the review! It looked like you left the LEDs on the whole time. Does it save power to disable them or are the lights such a small amount of power that it's negligible?

    • @Speedyfeetuk
      @Speedyfeetuk  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment and watching! Yes you can turn them off in the APP which is a nice feature; but your right its only a very small amount of power. Of course it would give you something - but it would be tiny :)

  • @PisarencoGh

    I think to buy one to go to my job every day. I really like the NineBot One and specifically the S2 version, because it is lighter, but I have few questions.
    - In my town a really bad roads for a town, also the road to sidewalk crossing a has a boarder about 10 cm, so how hard is to jump with it? And can how do you think it will rests for about day to day jumps? I'm not sure it likes jumps.
    - Also how the battery life is, I'm not about daily consumption, but entire batter life?
    - Also the climbing angle, did you made any tests? Really want to know what is the angle and the reached speed.
    I really like the S2 version, but if someone can has some other recommendations, I'm open to it.
    Thank you, and yes really good video.

    • @Speedyfeetuk
      @Speedyfeetuk  8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for watching and the comments.
      1. Jumping is more difficult on the S2 for sure. Jumping requires repositioning for the feet before lift off AND then when going on the flat again. Its also very hard to grip between your legs to lift off. BUT it is possible.
      2. Battery life - well the S2 is new so no long term examples, but we have sold ~500 Ninebot ONE E's and no issues with those batts to date.
      3. 15% is the recommended angle in the manual, it will do more of course. Regarding speed up hill, you need to take care of the machine to ensure it doesn't get to hot, or wear unnecessarily. I always slow down on very steep hills to ensure I look after my bot. if REALLY steep then I zig zag up the hill to help it (across all models, E, P and S2 - not because it lacks in power, but because I want it to survive for years!)
      Hope this helps!

    So, only 12.3 miles (roughly 20 km milage) using a full battery, when the site announces 30 km (50% more), and you did it in the best possible conditions, no real life stops (from red lights and people) and so on? Is that to be expected from an EUC? I struggle to get past the 9.3 miles range using it in Paris when leaving my appartement with a full battery in the morning, I am talking to the Support right now, but it feels like it's a big rip off from what they are promising on the website. Should I keep thinking my product might have a problem, or is this expected behavior? Thank you

    You said it's a bad thing to ride fast but why is it bad to ride fast Then?

    • @Speedyfeetuk
      @Speedyfeetuk  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You should only ride at a speed you are able to run from zero to x. 2 possibilities - 1. You hit something (usual point of impact is the footplate) - this causes a jack knife and you super man it - if your going to fast then you faceplant / have a hard impact. 2. A cut off - usually from leaning over and over powering the unit at high speed.
      Results from falls at higher than a speed you can run at are usuallly serious (broken bones - even with pads). Usual suspects are collar bone or wrists...or face.

    • @larsbarsthe4441

      +Ninebot UK I just always ride just before it begins beeping that's okey right?

    • @Speedyfeetuk
      @Speedyfeetuk  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah thats cool! But a golden rule would be to ride a speed you know you can run at if all goes wrong - that way you will always be on your feet despite what goes wrong...all being well :)

    • @larsbarsthe4441
      @larsbarsthe4441 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Ninebot UK yeah I'm riding fine on that speed only the Dutch police does not like my wheel... I have seen loads of cops asking about it and 1 cop that let me walk home... Because he said it's not allowed to ride in the Netherlands...
