I'll be turning 50 this year, reaping what was sown in my 20's, 30's, and 40's. Never regret obeying Jesus; only regret the times I didn't. He has been faithful to keep me secure through every storm.
This was a good sermon from Levi Lusko. I was there for a first Passion retreat with my church. I really enjoyed being there with 64,000 other Christians from other states and other countries around the world.
Thank God that the fruits of this conference are not dependent on anything man says. God is almighty and will use His Word and willing messengers to reach and touch the nations. God does not need to conform to the ways and thoughts and ideas of any man or woman. He is Almighty God!!!!
Haha for those who said they didn’t feel any “Holy Ghost” in this message. I have nooooo clue what you were listening to. This was refining fiiiiire! Speaking in and out of season, thanks God. Can’t wait to share this with those who are far from you
Salvation! The only thing God will accept is Jesus Christ. The only thing you can say to be accepted by God is to say, I trust in Christ, and his work on the cross. We know from scripture, that God manifested himself in the flesh, 1 Timothy 3:16: And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Today, God has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18). God is offering a free gift of salvation by grace though faith. All anyone has to do, is believe in the good news (gospel). Today, we are saved by the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation, Romans 1:16, for the preaching of the cross is to us who are saved, it is the power of God, 1 Corinthians 1:18. It is God’s free gift to anyone who believes, for it is by grace through faith in Jesus' work on the cross. The clearest scripture in what to believe in to be saved is: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. 1.) Moreover, brethren, I declared unto you the gospel which I preach unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2.) By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3.) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to scriptures; 4.) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to scripture. Once you believe that God sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins, you change your mind (repent) and believe and trust in His work on the Cross. You are now justified by his blood and will be saved from God’s wrath through Jesus Christ, Romans 5:9. This is such a great hope. Being saved from the wrath of God and having eternal life. The bible declares, once you believe in this good news, the Holy Spirit seals you until the day of redemption, Ephesians 1:13-14, and also the Holy Spirit baptizes you into Christ, Galatians 3:27. This baptism is a dry baptism per below: 1 Corinthians 12: 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. This is the one baptism Paul wrote to the Ephesians: “One Lord, one faith, one baptism” The *hope we have as new creatures in Christ,* is that we believe Jesus will return for His body, and we will meet him in the air, (1 Thess. 4:17), we shall receive resurrected bodies, (1 Corinthians 15:53) & we shall also reign with Him, (2 Timothy 2:12). If someone tells you, you have to do works in order to be saved, that is a lie. For if you have to do works, then God’s free gift of grace no longer becomes a free gift. Believe and be saved!!!! Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

@@bfrank88 Jesus spoke in parables when he spoke to large crowds. These are young adults and using an analogy can be very impact-full. Maybe you don't like his style that is fine, but Pastor Levi did teach a powerful message of God.
With respect, I encourage you to look at the teachings of Jesus. You'll notice that there are many times when in addition to teaching from the scriptures of his day, Jesus' number one method of ministry was storytelling. Why? Because stories capture people's attention and make people think, just as Levi has done here. Scripture is important and I don't mean to diminish that importance at all (and I don't believe Passion does either). In fact, three years ago, this conference gave out 55,000 study Bibles to students in attendance which I still read and study every day. This year, the students raised over 1 million dollars to translate the Bible so more people all around the world can hear the holy scriptures. In fact, I'd say our whole central theme this year was on the topic of the importance of knowing and living by the book. Scripture is important for sure! But Levi's message was in no means unbiblical. It was simply giving an earthly example of a biblical truth, just as Jesus did.
Are you kidding me ? This is considered a sermon?! This was a sad story with a "cool thought" afterwards. Let me get this straight, he read scripture for 1 minute then spent 15 minutes giving a history lesson attempting to read into scripture that the moral of the lesson of the two houses is to look to the future ?! That is a lesson that means to tell us to build on Christ because He is the corner stone and foundation of our faith and salvation. It a lesson about NOT being excited of the things of the world and to seek the things above. Yet, this man means to lead a stadium of young adults astray with a story that he thinks sounds good... the bible clearly says not to worry about tomorrow and just follow the direction of scripture day in and day out and that this world will come to an end so we should evangelize as much as possible; inspite of all this biblical teaching , this man preaches the here and now and missed the lesson in Mathew 7.
Must not have listened to the whole message carefully. Lusko is a great communicator of the Word. He made it very clear what this scripture is referencing to. God bless you!🙌🏾
@@joshvance116 no sir he really is not a preacher. A speaker yes but not a prophet; that is to say one who communicates the word of God not one who brings new revelation to a closed cannon.
I’m in the audience here. This guy spent 30 minutes talking about the Dust Bowl. What a waste of an opportunity to share the gospel with 60K+ young people. Louie needs to bring on guys like Paul Washer, John MacArthur, Steve Lawson, etc. Any serious Christian should seriously consider attending T4G instead of Passion.
Still one of my favorite sermons. I always come back to it in new seasons of my life.
