I already saw here in brazil some guys use this layout for plink dashes , but i use the Evasion layout wich is L M H A1 S LMH H A2 With this i can plink with H and with M too. i needed some time to get used to this layout , but its a good one too !
This is interesting because I've thought about the button placements before but I usually play on Type B default and just shift my hand to the right if I wanna get cleaner plink because I can plink with my forefinger and middle finger pretty well. So basically I actually use both the three button and two button method like that. I'll try out this layout tho see if I like it better

Since Jonthan told me this I haven't heard one person mention it. I've seen people plink in all sorts of manners and I've heard people have trouble getting plinks to be clean.

I remember this from back in the day when you could refresh the UMVC3 search history on TH-cam by upload date and find new tech everyday. The closest I found that that F-Champ video with the H+LMH dashing. Anyway this stuff is good to have out there any way and the stuff regarding the setup is Gold. My setup used to be LMH - M - H - A1 N/A - L -S - A2

Is it all in just practicing the inputs? Or are there even different combinations of buttons i could use instead
Plinking with different characters can require different timings and nuance because of their normals. If you're sure the dashes are not coming out due to that reason your best bet is to try those different timings.
Big secret?...this shit is as old as the Game. Only poeple that doesnt know about this are the ones that are new to the Game , i guess this vídeo it's for them

I play on controller. I just make my right trigger L+H, then I make I use M as my top button(Y/Triangle.)
THE DASH BUTTON PLINK IS THE WAY
