This was my first proper bike. I rode it on the streets, in the hills, and on the track quite a few times. It flattered my skill level and kept me safe. That ram air system screams like a banshee. My one mod was braided front brake lines. Thanks for the video, so beautiful.
The 90s bikes are works of art 🏆10/10
My 1999 g2 zx6r has been my daily ride for the last 14yrs bullet proof engine solid bike the howl of the intake at warp speed is addictive✊just keep them 4pot calipers clean and change the oil regularly for guaranteed smiles per miles
I remember on '92 or '93, one of the magazines did a 24-hour wide-open throttle torture test on a GSXR. After screaming at max rpm for 24 hours, the engine was torn down with no discernible wear! Just a crazy level of duribility.
I bought one brand new in 1995. It was superb!
Great road bike, have an F3. Nice to see another 90s bike restored, good work!!
Também tenho uma F3 os grafismos de bandeira não me agrada, gostaria de fazer os mesmos grafismos que esta do vídeo na minha F3, acha uma boa ideia?
Would look great @@suassuna_244
I had the exact same back then..such a rocket, my saddle was also purple..nostalgia!!
Awsome zx6 i have a 96 zx9r i wouldnt trade it for anything what a great era in street bikes and comfortable too unlike modern supersports
Elle est magnifique. j'avais la même en 95... Le vrai vert kawa. Moto sans toutes les assistances de maintenant... Du pur plaisir à piloter !
In 1995 i was a sr in high school and my bestie Lucas and i would skip school and go to the dealer and Wish for this exact bike ( also the cbr600 on the showroom) funny how you never forget the colors / graphic schemes 26 years later . nice bike what a unicorn.
Gotta 95 with 10,000 miles she’s great still running strong
My first bike😊
I keep my black one like a treasure and pray every march it´s going to reawake as did all the years before. Afraid of the day the carburator needs a general overhaul. It´s still a beast. Got a bike with injection engine as well but it will never be the fun of a naturally aspirated engine on dope. I hate falling into motorbrake on changing gear. May be standard in 2025 but not my way of driving relaxed.
i have the same machine owned for 16 years only 30,000 miles the f2 series great bike very fast !
Awesome looking bike, they really are something else the old bike's ain't they.
1995 is the year of cracked frame on them bikes. The frames cracked at the underside of the main spar closest to the valve cover. You bump a curb, frame cracks, you get over a bump at speed, frame cracks, you get a stiff wind, frame cracks, you buy used bike frame may already cracked? Yeah, no prob, just strip it down and have it welded you think? Nah, frame will crack a again. '96 and '97 had an extra 2mm for the inner wall of the main frame spars.
Got one myself there less than 10k on it love it
very nice unobtainium !!
I’ve got one.. very nice too!!! 😊
hi, i ve got the same bike and it was runnin good no problem, but i ve moved some of the spark plugs and stuff i dont know how you call it in eng the cables that come on top of the spark plug i ve moved them and stuff and now the bike wont start, it s rotating and all good she is getting fuel but wont start, if i try it to start it the spark plugs get a lil bit hot of course so i think they are all good what would the problem be?

Theres a guy selling one online for 700-1100. All he says it needs is new headlight, and he bought a new battery.

Não vendo não troco não empresto
If you like this, you'll love a 636...provided you can find one.
636 não tem o ronco de uma ZX6 R primeira geração.
That’s not a knoife. This is a knoife.
ugh, it's got snot green on the wheels. Lame purple zig zag on white makes the whole thing look like puke.
It’s a complement when I say your ignorance is shining through. In that era, this is what style was. Zig zags, mullets, loud colors, all of it. It was the mid-90s. The good news is you don’t have to own, ride, or look at one of you don’t want one.
@@bv2000 He's some more enlightenment for you. The '95 model zx-6r was known to have a weak frame that was prone to cracking at the bottom of the cusp of the inner frame spars. '96 and '97 had an extra 2mm thickness of inner aluminum for the hollow, upper frame spars. Run your hand inside the lower top frame and you might feel a crack right there. When those frames crack, the crack can't be seen unless you take the side fairing off. You're welcome. The other good news is you can off it somebody who is truly ignorant.
Ok. Now you’ve gone from a subjective opinion to an objective comment. Very different but something to think about for sure. I’m considering picking one up that appears to be in good shape cosmetically and mechanically but with that new info I may think twice. Never knew this was an issue and it appears to have happened on more than a few occasions judging by old forums.
Yeah, we heard you last time about the frame.
@@justinpino8115 Sorry you got stuck with one.
