Type in the title and author's name in the youtube search engine. Someone else might have loaded it if this person hasn't. You'll find that the last book is often omitted from any book series unless they're already public domain or something. It's frustrating, so know that before you listen to a 10 book series just to find the 11th, and final one, missing.

This is so fucking silly I can't endure it. Why does scifi almost always suck? I spend most of my days trying to find scifi that doesn't suck - for that one pearl in a sea of shite.

I am down to the last hour of this book, what did you find so wrong or silly? Personally the few things that bugged me were minor quips about the accuracy of terms like clip vs magazine, "sniper rifle," and the possible misjudgment of the author (or I misheard?) as to just how tall 2.5 meter (the human mech's height) really is (about 9 feet) and other uses of distance that seem a bit off for the situation being described. Or perhaps the quickness with which people seem to be able to travel from one planet to another using mere "shuttles" without any real description of the passage of time or duration of travel, or even just how far along the humans space fairing tech has advanced (torch ships, E.M. drives or or any such hints at all missing, other than the ravagers damaging the Dark-Stream destroyer's "engines" that doesn't show much else, tech-wise).
What I have NOT found thus far (at least not catching my attention anyway) are what can ruin some books for me: Mary Sue waahman power (thankfully, Lisa went from a useless trainee to actually trained soldier under Tessa's experienced guidance and didn't wake up one morning knowing it all), frivolous plot armor and convenient had waving of physics to move things along (maybe I missed that? can't say so though, even the mechd are vulnerable as are their occupants time and time again, even their over use is seen by Roach and his pilots as concerning, given their reliance on the mechd and the toll it takes on their humanity...). Hell even the purple alien furries aren't all just one racist stereotype of all bad or all good, all commie, or all collectivist (unlike say most conveniently spun enemies in fiction who's race is basically one menacing stereotype or another, i.e. greedy Ferengi, barbaric honor bound Klingons, deceptive Roman like Romulans/Cardasians...).
Anywho, just curious about your disappointment. I know what you mean by silliness though in many sci-fi works. It comes with the territory I guess sometimes and how masterfully the writer can deal with the complexities of a made up society, and world.
