RAIN & WIND - Solo outback camping road trip / ASMR

I didn't want to leave Menindee Lakes but it was time to get moving. besides, the next stop of this road trip is the beautiful Ikara-Flinders Ranges in South Australia.
I set up camp in the middle of Wilpena Pound. It looks like an ancient, massive meteorite crater but it's actually formed by two mountain ranges rising next to each other and just looks like a crater.
The first day I arrived it rained all day and night. It was so windy during the night, it blew my tent awning down but luckily the next day was clear, blue skies and sunny.
There is lot's of wildlife in this area, I saw some Kangaroo's, Emu's, Lizards...and some very confident and loud small birds (if anyone knows what they are, let me me know in the comments pls.)
I went hiking up one of the ridges for stunning views across the Pound, cooked up a chicken curry and relaxed by the camp fire.
In the next episode I move camp to outside Wilpena Pound which actually gave me a better view of the ranges and stunning sunrises and sunsets

Hi, Suzanne, yeah, it’s a different eco system inside the pound, most of the animals would have never ventured outside it…where there are farmers who are allowed to shoot Kangaroos to keep them off their crops…so they are quite comfortable around humans, she even took a step towards me which was surprising. I miss Digger too, two more video’s on this road trip then Digger will be back!

Thank you, Kenn, I appreciate that. I think about it a lot before adding more than just the intro/outro music…I try to find the right balance, so it adds to the video and not be just music for the sake of it. Glad you liked it.

hey mate, the drop off could just be that there are increasing number of channels doing similar things rather than the quality of your content. I think continuing to inject your personality and varying themes like the kayak or guitar will bring people back to your channel. Of course there's also your best mate and offsider - Digger.................👍😎🤣

With something like this, its the long game. two more video's of the road trip then the star of the show will be back! Lol I might take him on a mini road trip up the Central Coast...make up for all these video's people have been missing him in 🙄 Lol

The birds are Apostle birds/mudnester/family birds…….. I have them on my property and can sit down with them, it is though enjoy the company, I know I do.

Hi, Inga, this is the road trip series of video's...Digger is still at home. There are 2 more video's in the road trip series before Digger will be back...when I get home I'll make a camping video that features him a lot, for all those who have missed him! 👍

Hey mate, the table is by Zempire, they have a few sizes, mine is the Standard V2 $149
not cheap, so I held off buying one and just used an old heavy, none folding one from home but as space started to become a premium, I decided to bite the bullet and buy one. It has a unique folding system and packs up v small...having adjustable feet is handy addition too. I bought it from BCF.
