- Round 10, the season finale, of the 2011 CBR125R Canadian Nationals at Mosport near Toronto. This was Leah's last CBR125R Challenge race. It was tight racing with Leah well placed until the lead pack caught a lapped rider in the hairpin with two laps to go. Leah got caught behind the 'lapper' and the lead pack broke away. With only two laps remaining she was unable to catch the leaders again.
Hi,
Leah hit 130km/h at the bottom of turns 2 and 4. We added a data logger half way through the season. Those were the highest speeds we saw all year. Typically she was doing about 120 km/h drafting anywhere else. Mosport is the fastest track they go to. Faster than you would think on 12.6 hp.

Hi, not me, but my daughter. Yes, she tips into turn 8 without lifting. The CBR125s are doing a little over 120km/h at that point. The only places she really slowed down were 10 going onto the front straight and through Moss's. The fastest points on the track for her were the bottom of turns 2 and 4 where she hit 130. The highest speed we recorded all year. Too bad the series is over.
Woah She is crazy!
Cool! It sounds like you are not even braking at all going into 8. Is that correct? Flat out at the end of the straight and then just tip it in on full throttle?
Whaouww nice video ;-)
Hi, Yes that is the correct height. How you guessed that is a mystery. The race videos are actually my daughterand not me.
Cheers

What leathers is she wearing? Fiancée likes them...:)
Hi, She's in Arlen Ness. Solid leathers, as they have been down the road a few times. Their gloves were also very good and crashed well too. We switched her back to Alpinestars for her boots, as they were good, not as good as the other kit.
