Fastest axe in the land! Very creative use of the system, I love the versatility.

Hi Quinn. Thanks for checking out my video and for subscribing to the channel! Hope the garlic smoking goes well. I haven’t smoked for a while but I think I’ll try smoking some fish next time.

Thanks! Thinking I might try smoking a bit of salmon at some point 🤔. Could be a future video…

Great idea! I had actually been thinking about doing this using a pot with some chicken legs, so it was cool to see you confirming the concept works 🍗👍

Thanks. I was pleased how it turned out. I’m thinking of trying a bit of fish next time I have a go at smoking. Chicken sounds good though!

Beech is perfect smoke for all pork, applewood is another good wood for smoking in the U.K, nice technique by the way 😎👍‼️ The limited oxygen means the ‘can’ produces even more smoke rather than the woodchips bursting into flames. I use an old, scorched tin can for my smoking stuff. That smoked garlic goes awesome in ‘Onion Mash’. 🇬🇧🏕🔥👍

I like the sound of applewood, definitely have to try that one day. Having a dedicated smoking can would be a good idea, washing up that day was certainly a challenge 😂

An alcohol burner can also be used in that Kelly Kettle stove on days when it snows, and rains. If sticks are too moist to burn. The alcohol burner is another option.

That’s a great tip, thanks. Luckily we don’t get too much snow in England but we have had more than our fair share of rain lately!

@@parkitpitchitmoorit It's nice to have an alcohol burner in your kit just encase. :)

@@melissahoffman4687 I do have one with the mini Trangia. They are great aren’t they!

@@parkitpitchitmoorit Certainly! Your Kelly Kettle wood stove would make a great windscreen with your mini trangia inside.
